pls can one apply wth his or her statement of result? my school does not give individuals their transcripts. they either send it to the company or to the sch u wnt to transfer or further ur studies in.

One frm niger delta, 3 frm d south west nd 3 frm d south east. So d 3 frm d SE hav al done their medicals. So, i dnt knw hw dey ar doin it, may b its according to zone. Bt i dnt knw. Like after 2days my srd, a lady frm shell even called me nd ask of my state of origin. So, i was wondering y. Until they cal d 3 pple frm d SE, that it now bgin 2 make sense to me. Dint put my transcript,but uploaded my statement of result..n dts all.upload whaever u av @present,at the final day (srd),u ll b asked to bring al ur credentials.

abduol: You can withdraw your application for it not to be considered for further steps in the recruitment process. You can activate that on your profile and Shell will release your profile. When you want it reactivated you inform them to put back your profile, you continue from where you stopped (no tests anymore.

Boss, are you saying one can withdraw that particular application and re-apply? i.e go through the whole online test stages again?


abduol: abduol: Its nice to know that after SRD, Shell has contacted attendees for medicals. Since, the application deadline is 31st December, 2013. It is possible that there will be other interviews and SRD's until year end. Let us all hope for the best (application under review, pending phone interview, or waiting final assessment). It is well.

Hi Bosojun,

Open application comes at the stage of application received, passed second assessment, and application under review. When you are scheduled for interview your application is no longer open because shell has comfirmed interest in you and are taking your recruitment further. An open application means you can withdraw the application or suspend it and reapply at a future date. Hope that explanation is clear enough.

I am having a serious problem with the online assessment. It has not allowed me progress beyond question one. I have also sent mails to intimate them of this difficulty , but to no reply and solution.

What do I do to avoid not termed not interested and as such discontinued from the programme.

Hi Ashmark,

In simple terms it means your application has been received but nothing tentative is done about it. By tentative I mean, your application is not yet considered for interview and SRD. An open status can remain for as long as reviewis done. If you mean you have not received the links for either the first or second test, then log into your profile and check the steps to apply for an SRD, you will locate the shell link to send your complaints to.

it means you were not accepted. It is like a regret mail sent to you after an application. I suppose it changed from application under review to unsuccessful.

A lil tip for those yet to do SRD.. If u don't have a masters degree, make sure u perform extraordinarily well to stand out. All the best peeps...
