supaeagles: it is this same law that makes 30something old men with bushy beards/chest hairs claim that they are 17 and so eligible to play for golden eaglets yet fizzle out before they even reach the age of '24'. Then you have another spectrum of people who may be in their 80s and then claim to be 120 hmmmmmmm Yes it is the same law. Statutory declaration of age: " I do solemnly and sincerely declare that ((set out in numbered paragraphs if more than one matter) ) and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of the Oaths Act of 1990. People abuse this alot just as you mentioned but there are penalties for such offence, especially if there are proves that one lied under oath. I'm not a Lawyer anyway, they may be more to this that i do not know. |
