Guys, a Swedish firm is interested In getting into the Nigerian defence sector.


The firm is a manufacturer of light-weight, high performance gyro-stabilized electro-optical systems with both EO and IR capabilities. And also, small, light-weight long-wave thermal imagers.

What are the ways they can fully tap into the Nigerian defence space?

It appears the Nigerian navy is also getting some Eurocopters as well as the OCEA boats

I had an argument with Patches689 over this a couple weeks back. A new helicopter type might not be the best way to go he argues, as for me, that's the problem of the Nigerian navy to deal with, not me. New helicopters , means new equipment, which translates to new excitement and new photos. cheesy

NN has only 2 helicopter types don't they? The bell rangers and AW109/139 a 3rd type won't hurt anyone... I really like French equipment just not their policies towards Nigeria.

They already export to other countries/clients.

What local content can be infused in the partnership.

They can do alot in Nigeria but to make things easier, they will need a local company as a partner.

question 1. Militarized version or the Civilian version that was sold to the NNPC?
question 2. i wonder what the tail version would look like would it be fully enclosed ( CIRCULAR) like the ones Nigeria has currently owns or the open rotary version ?

True. Deathmachine is still in service (seems he's in the army) while the two other guys are Air Force personnel.
