Cause It was the king of Ethiopia that led the arabs who ran away while being persecuted to settle in Zelia (present day north somalia), so they can practice Islam. They spread islam in the horn before it was even in Egypt, or Iraq.

After Somalis fully adopted Islam. We left established Islamic Sultanates.
