OLANREWAJU AND EVELYN walked up to the gate and knocked briefly before Ronke came out to open the gate and welcomed them in happily. She walked inside and woke Folawe up. "The guy and his and his sister is here."


"The CRV guy?" She sat up.


"Yes, come and meet them oh."


"Alright. I'll be there shortly." She replied and adjusted her cloth.


Ronke left the room for the living room. "She'll be here shortly." She smiled.


"Alright. Thanks so much." Lanre replied.


"What would you love to take? Food or drinks?"


"We are okay." He replied.


".. I don't mind malt sister." Evelyn smiled.


"Alright, I'll be right back." She walked into the kitchen.


"Foolish girl. Na food go kill you." Lanre laughed.


"I'm not like you now. She asked us, its not by force now." She smiled.


"That's how you arts students behave sha, you can even eat a child's placenta." He continued laughing.


"Na you sabi." She smiled.


Folawe came outside and looked around. "Good day sir and madam."


"Sir? Madam?" Lanre repeated as he stood, smiling.


"See my brother, smiling to a lady. Mum must even hear this." Evelyn was thinking.


"Yes now." She smiled and sat down.


Lanre sat back. "I'm sorry about the other day."


"I should be the one sorry. I pulled out of nowhere. I should be thanking you too, many run away after hitting people."


"That's them oh. Its not good now, we should always learn out to help."


"I'm Folawe."


"I'm Lanre, I work at LAYO OILS AND GAS COMPANY."


"That's awesome. What of this beautiful sister." She smiled.


"Beautiful?" Lanre frowned a little at Evelyn.


She introduced herself too.


"Who told you that? Is this one beautiful like this?" Lanre laughed.


"She is beautiful now. Can't compare her to someone like me, ugly mutcheche." They laughed.


"No, don't talk that way."


Ronke came out with a tray of two maltina drinks and a pack of straw with an opener, included.


"Thanks." Evelyn smiled.


"So that's your wife?" Folawe smiled.


"Wife? This naughty girl is my sister." He smiled.


"Wao! You've got a beautiful sister."



"You are welcome." Ronke replied and then took her seat after lifting the bottles of Maltina up.


"Nice you guys are seeing one another today. I'll be inside." Ronke smiled and walked inside.


"So, I'm a Music student at Fidelity University in my 200 level."


"Wao! I'm a mass communication student also, 200 level." Evelyn smiled.


"That sounds great. I've found another friend." She smiled at her.


"Hmm.. Story teller." He faced Evelyn and hissed.


"No now, at least I asked her." She smiled.


"She's indeed beautiful." Evelyn thought smiling.


"Do you have a whatsapp account or are you on BBM?" Evelyn asked.


"Yes, but can't find my phone. I'll just get another one and retrieve my sim card number."


"Let's go and get them all, at least we can go out and eat lunch too." Lanre smiled.


"Alright. That's good." She smiled and entered into the room to inform Ronke."

6:00pm...


Folawe returned back home and got ready to leave for Olawale's place. She had already been gotten a new phone and a 'welcome-back' sim.


She got to the place some minutes after and explained herself before Olawale and his son. After all the explanations, she was shown the room she'd be staying. Michael then set out for the hotel to pack all his things back home.

Olawale and his son walked down the stairs happily. Folawe was in the living room charging her newly bought phone. "You are here?" Olawale smiled and took his seat.


Michael took his seat beside her. "Yes sir." She smiled.


"I want everything to be done as quick as possible. Its reasonable for a daughter to still be in school and get married." He smiled.


"Its awesome." Michael added.


"What's awesome. It isn't ideal, one should wait and finish everything, marriage can't be rushed into." She replied changing her face. "Wait.. What are these people talking about? I just hope they aren't addressing me and Michael." She thought.


"That's not like the marriage between you and Michael. Everything will be pleasant now." Olawale smiled.


"Huh? Michael? Says who?" She smiled.


"Is it funny? It shouldn't be." Michael smiled.


"Is this really a joke or reality?"


"Haha.. What is Folawe talking about now? You should have known since I said I want the friendship between my friend and I to continue. You can't marry a stranger." Olawale uttered.


"Michael? That's not possible sir, I already have someone I love." She replied.


"Love? At university level?" Michael uttered.

"Now, once you marry, your father's will says you'll be given everything." He smiled.

"Alright sir. Let me start going." She stood up.


Michael stared at her for a while. "Are you serious with this?" He stood up also.


"Sure." She replied and smiled.


"It seems your so called love has been enticing you with money right? No big deal, I'll get him." He laughed wickedly and walked inside.


"Folawe now. Don't be like this, don't mind dad, but.."


"Michael. I'm not enticed by you just returning back from wherever you went to. I'm concerned about myself and my love."

Folawe parked her things and headed to Tayo's place. She knew Ronke's parents would already be at home and it wouldn't be so easy to get in and feel free. She arrived there and slept overnight.


The following morning...


Folawe got up early and dialed Ronke's cell phone number, her sim had been activated then and she had been credited with some amount of airtime. They both discussed on how they'll journey to Lanre's place that day. She collected Lanre's cell phone number and called him to inform him about her visitation.


Lanre got his sister ready immediately. "Mrs woman, let's start preparing. I'm having some visitors today."


"Today? You aren't going to work?"


"I'll record today as my sick day, don't bother."


"Hmmn.. Liars don't make heaven bro." She smiled.


"Meaning what? Start tidying up the house, only God knows how your house will be when you marry." He laughed.


"Don't say that. Its what you know that I'm neat. As the boss now." She smiled.


"I don't have time for this talk this morning. I'll go and pick them from where I've described."


"Wait, who are these people?"


"When they arrive, you'll see them." He replied.


"I know them already. I'll call mum to come." She winked.


"That's not possible. It won't be funny Eve." He replied.


"On one condition." She smiled.


".. Talk as fast as possible. We got to take care of some things." He smiled.


"Tell me the people coming."


"Okay. Folawe and her second friend.. I've forgotten her name sef."

"Let's get to business." He pushed her forward.

Folawe was dressed and sat in the living room, expecting Tayo to come out so they would be able to discuss some things before she left.


Tayo came out at last, neatly dressed. "You are off to where now?"


"I'm going to a friend's place. I'll return early." She replied.


"Don't stay long. Try as much as possible to subscribe today and download your whatsapp and other things so that we'll talk better."


"Alright sir." She replied.


"Don't use sir for me again. Call me by my name sef, I'm Tayo now."


"Impossible sir. I don't add sir, but just thought that its wrong. You've been married, or let me say you are married and even with a daughter." She smiled.


"I insist. Don't just sir me again. And, when are we going to the studio?"


"Maybe tomorrow." She replied.


"That's nothing. Any time you are ready. I'll discuss with Eze, the organizer of the latest talent hunt about you." He smiled.


"Alright, later then sir. Thanks." She replied and stood up.




Folawe left for Ronke's place. On her way to Ronke place, when a running car suddenly crossed her...
