However, i do not support a ban on their right to a specific religious practice which does not hurt anyone other than the individual.

I can understand If their being hungry constitutes a safety risk in the execution of their duties, but this has not been expressed here.

Most religious people are retarded, so it is no surprise to see many people here cheer the Chinese for trampling religious rights.
Ask yourselves if you would have said the same thing if the ban targeted christians observing Lent or any other fasting practice. Or
