Yes they are very expensive here in the states. They go up 120 to 170 here in the states. That is why i got some igbo friends to help me. My parents are little help. They just make fun of me cause i can't pronounce the words right.

Chi, I don't think its as hard as people make it out to seem. Being older certainly makes it a bit more difficult, but I don't think there is any major hinderance.

Yeah it is a hard language to learn. But it is easier when you have a support system. Mine is my friends and the folks on this thread. But i must admit, learning spanish is way easier than learning igbo. But you will learn. I have faith you will.

Yeah anyone can say "Por que" or "No puedo" and still get their point across. You tell someone to say the igbo alphabet, and watch them pronounce "a" in their way.
