@eastbay, Cos zidane head butted materazzi make s zidane a no class player again. Did messi not spit on a black player of late, did diouf not spit at players, did drogba not slap vidic, even toni schumacher nearly murdered battiston, was schumacher a bad keeper. Stars are bound to lose it once a while. Ronaldo might play shit for portugal i am not bothered,we need carlos queiroz back, his space is intact in OT and carrington. Did messi play the copa America final. Did messi play against madrid in bernabeu lasts eason. Did messi play against United at all.Did messi take part in la liga last 2 seasons, did messi play more matches than ronaldo in the respective leagues and who has scored more. Did Messi win Fifpro world footballer of the year. Sill wise messi is better than Ronaldo but delivery wise Ronaldo is better. Ronaldo had more chances of scoring than messi in nou camp when United held Barcelona to na draw. More to say later. the germans are not better than djibouti if current form is to be noted. They were lucky to plau Euro 2008 final. |

What have I not heard on this forum? A country lucky to play the final of a tournament 16 countries/teams contested in 2008? A country lucky to play the final of The world cup in 2002 where 32 top nations contested? Lucky to get 3rd position out of 32 teams at the last world cup? There name must be LUCKYLAND |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by dayokanu(m): 7:54pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
What eastbay is saying is that Top players choose top games to excel when you now have a player who specialises in the Hull , Stoke and Fulham of these world but freezes whenever he plays Gernamy, Brazil, France and italy, He does not deserve world best!!!!!!!! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 8:04pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
DK No, Eastbay is saying Ronaldo is a jackass, a disgrace, a spoiled prima donna with no class, and he wishes Fergie had sold him off. And of course you would cheer the guy on in his biasedness because you equally dislike United nyabinghi:Thank you o, nyabinghi. Eastbay Is there any soccer star that hasn't let his temper get the better of him at some point or the other?? Does that somehow decrease their skill , fluidity, talent?? Even Fergie lashes out at offending refs when he gets really mad. Mourinho lashes out at virtually anybody that gets him mad Does that make them less than they currently are as classy gaffers? Please be realistic. What kind of fan never has anything good to say about his club?Honestly, I think we should sell Eastbay to Bayern |

What have I not heard on this forum? as at today, England is better than Germany. Continuing digging historical facts, Its all history. . . .wake up and smell the coffe Mike Tyson will tell you what it means to be once upon a time (i got this from tht forum) |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Sauron1: 8:24pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
dayokanu: Eastbay is one hypocritical asswax. Ronaldo delivered at the biggest stage this year(Champions League final). He outscored all the strikers in Europe, all the strikers in UCL and in the Premiership. If that does not make him world's best, nothing else would. Every player has an off day. . . . . .Portugal as a country will not become GREAT because of a player. Ukraine lost matches when Shevchenko was there. . . . . .George Weah won nothing with Liberia when he was there. Only lobotomised retards would expect Ronaldo to turn Portugal into Italy overnight. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 8:31pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
~Sauron~:Seconded!!! All in favor say ''aye'' Like hez a one-man army or something. For all his accolades, hez still a member of a team. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by dayokanu(m): 10:36pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
If Ronaldo can't make the difference then why does he hope to be world best. Ronaldo does not male Portugal better maybe he made them worse Zidane made the difference in france what was Frances achievement before and after Zidane? Ribery and Toni rejuvenated Bayern, Dinho did the same at barca. Puskas did with Hungary Maradona won the world cup almost singlehandedly Ballack and Kahn did with Germany in 2002. that is why they are superstars @tkb, FIFA ranking says Germany is number 2, Last Euro they were second England nowhere, last world cup they were 3rd England was nowhere. Is that what you call history? |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Akolawole(m): 10:51pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
dayokanu: That is a bullet Dayo. Why you no mention Rashidi Yekini? |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by dayokanu(m): 10:54pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
Akola, Rashidi was part of an all star team. reminiscent of Chicago bulls |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by akinalabi(m): 11:35pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
Dayo, you were analysing well until you messed it up with metioning Ribery and Toni. They rejuvenated Bayern? To do what? Win the bundesliga and semi finals of the UEFA cup. And Ronaldo? Led United to two premierships and 1 UCL. The latter sounds better to me. Dont know about you. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Akolawole(m): 11:42pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
dayokanu: Ok, i get the argument now. @Akin How now? Long time o. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Sauron1: 11:48pm On Nov 20, 2008 |
akinalabi: He is deluded. . . . . . . .There's no player in the world yet who achieved what Ronaldo achieved at Man Utd. Zidane, Luiz Ronaldo, Romario, Ballack or who?? Puhleaaze. . . . . .Dayo has to show me a winger who conquered Europe and his league by outscoring all other strikers in the continent. There can only be one Ronaldo. . . . . .Thierry Henry with all his brilliance never scored FORTY GOALS for Arsenal in one single season. ALL HAIL KING RONALDO. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by kaypumpin2(m): 12:53am On Nov 21, 2008 |
~Sauron~: Its easier for a baby elephant to force its way thru a lizard's egg than for Dayo to agree to Ronaldo's exceptional performance last football season. It was an all round feat with blips in some matches which is not onlt peculiar to him but other football greats! He's human so hes not expected to give a top drawer performance ALL the time. The way dude ran @ defender last season cld only be likened a hot knife through blue band It hurts to admit it BUT he was the most brilliant player last season in all competition he was involved in majorly! The records speak for itself Really it was CR7 and other players last season!EOD |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by A40(m): 1:04am On Nov 21, 2008 |
I agree CR7 was a one man counter attack last season they just have to give him that FIFA award because if they don't give him i don't see who else they could possibly give |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by DrKitaun(m): 2:01am On Nov 21, 2008 |
LAND OF THE SCUMMIES NOTHING HAS CHANGED @CHACAL come off it . . . we all know that the EPL is better than the Bundesliga, but please stop mentioning the 3 Lions in the comity of football playing nations . .haba its insulting ! as South Africa is to Africa so is England to Europe I know Dayokanu can be an irritant atimes with his biased views on the Prem but then arun oju ni naw . . .GERMANY IS ONE OF THE STRONGEST TEAMS IN WORLD FOOTIE ! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by A40(m): 2:52am On Nov 21, 2008 |
Dr Kitaun:Word!!! save for their dubious World Cup in 1966 England have little to boast about same as South Africa in 1996 |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by dayokanu(m): 6:56am On Nov 21, 2008 |
They rejuvenated Bayern? To do what? Win the bundesliga Before toni and Ribery bayern was fourth in the Bundesliga and after a season bayern won back the bundesliga Before C.Ronaldo, Man Utd had dominated the EPL and when he came he did not change anything. @Kay Pumping It was an all round feat with blips in some matches which is not onlt peculiar to him but other football greats! He's human so hes not expected to give a top drawer performance ALL the time. How come these occasional blips are against the BIG teams like France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, AC Milan, Barcelona etc and the top draw performance against Hull city, Stoke City, Fulham , Roma and Kazakhstan? Like you have forgotten Euro 2008 where he did not make top 23!!!!
Like you have not been watching Lionel Messi just one game of messi would do. England and South Africa are the same Probably the best organised leagues in their continent, Just one trophy won controversially on Home soil ages ago, they control the media in the 2 continents, You would find Abacha in heaven before you find a skillfull player in any of these countries @Dr Kit, Kaabo se daada lo de ati nreti re, |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Emperoh(m): 8:23am On Nov 21, 2008 |
Hmmm Dr. kit is back Only God knows where he's been to. DDK You and your argument. Initially, CR7 wasn't a world class player Not he doesn't deserve to be world best. One question, Where was Messi and Co when he was banging in goals week in week out I bet they also played small teams in their respective league. . . . . If have said this before, Portugal is shyte not Ronaldo. . . . |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by akinalabi(m): 9:31am On Nov 21, 2008 |
Akola, I dey o. I was always coming here reading. I couldnt log in though as I as always on the road. But I'm back to base. Dayo, Ronnie's burst to form was what lifted United to glory. Remember the last time we won it was 2003. And helping a team win the bundesliga is not what makes on great. Did you see your list? Maradona winnning the world cup, Zidane winning the world cup and so on. don't mention mediocre players like Ribery and mediocre achievements like winning the Gernam league. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 10:15am On Nov 21, 2008 |
Listen, all of you. I repeat.None of you is more United than I am. Someone said what he does for Portugal is not our biz. That as far as I'm concerned is the most hypocritical piece of crap on this thread.Whereever he goes,he's going to carry United with him. Saroun,it seems you have carried your stupidity from the boxing thread to this forum.I'm ashamed to be a United fan with you. I find it distateful that he behaved the way he did on Wednesday. And lumping him with people who have had a disgraceful outing or the other is no excuse. And believe me,it's a silly way of behaving. And as much as I hate to say this with gritted teeth, dayokanu is true to some extent about his disapearing in big games. What about Gullit,Matthaus,Van Basten,Lineker,Sammer, what d o you say about these players?Aren't they gentlemen on and off the pitch?Did they ever hold their club to ransom the way the flea-brained jackass did to us this summer, knocking us out of our stride? Because he earns so much makes his (Ronaldo) punny little head so swollen. And what about Kaka?Have you ever thought why he never is in the news for any wrong reason? I'm waiting for your responses. All of you who refuse to see the truth. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by bussyankee(m): 11:15am On Nov 21, 2008 |
East-bay or what do you call youself, you are the most ungrateful and un-patriotic manu fan i ever seen in my life, after what Ronaldo did for our beloved team in the last 2 years, you can open your mouth ( or is it your father computer) and spew those rubbish. i am sure you are like those chelsea fans that joined under Jose successes and think that that their team or a player must always perform. i think you just joined, fucker. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 11:48am On Nov 21, 2008 |
Bussyankee,(or whatever you may be) I wont exchange dirty words with a wimp like you. You're just like everybody else:blind, ignorant, stupid and foolish. Ronaldo did everything(I agree),but ruined it all with his attitude in the summer. He had to be talked into staying by Fergie who he first avoided. He tried to force us into selling him.He met secretly with Real Officials and it was captured on film by camera phone and sent to TheSun.co.uk. Real then used Marca to whip up a campaign to sign him,and all the while, the jabroni never denied any of the stories pointing him towards the Bernabeau. That whole incident took the shine off what should have been a satisfying summer for us to celebrate our titles. And in case you haven't noticed,it has been part of why we started so slowly. But a dumb slowpoke like you has no guts to be truthful even with your empty self. Next summer,Real will still do the same thing:try to lure him out.And he will play this silly game, disregarding whatever contract he signed with us. I'm tired of this rubbish from him.Heck,United is bigger than one so-called player. Sparky(I bet your empty head you don't know who that is),Keano,Ruud,Becks,Bruce,Cantona,Schmeichel, have all come and gone.In some cases we struggled to fill those shoes, but in time we've moved on.Ronaldo is no damn exception. And by the way,you ignorant fool, because you have a stinking laptop doesn't prevent me from saying what I'm saying simply because it doesn't tally with your stunted and warped logic.I have my opinion, and the best you could do is respond to my post, rather than insult me.But you haven't responded to anything I've said.Rather, you spew out rubbish from that PII laptop you managed to acquire, because you're so uncouth. I asked some questions in the last post.Of course you refused to answer because you don't have the slightest idea in the world about what we're saying. Till then I'll rather have words with a zebra than you. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by akinalabi(m): 11:50am On Nov 21, 2008 |
Eastbay: That's a silly statement. How did you know that? I don't think anyone has said what Cristiano did in Brazil was right so you're totally off the mark. I don't see anything wrong with a player considering his future which was exactly what Cristiano did. Did you for once think Ronaldo was a United lifer? What's come over you? Besides most of the "Ronaldo saga" were straight out of Marca which we know is pro real madrid. Did you remember Rio's delayed contract? Today, Rio is a rock for us and our captain (at least the first two captains, Gary and Ryan are no longer regulars) |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by mukina2: 11:53am On Nov 21, 2008 |
No, Eastbay is saying Ronaldo is a jackass, a disgrace, a spoiled prima donna with no class, but thats exactly what he is |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by nyabinghi(m): 12:25pm On Nov 21, 2008 |
@ all, Where is Argentina in the world cup standings? Did messi miss the matches? How many goals has messi scored against big clubs too. 3 goals against madrid ia all messi could show against big teams. Everybody does it in their leagues. Stoke,Hull both beat Arsenal and they do parade internationals. Sorensen (Denmark) Amdy Faye(Senegal) Sonko(Senegal) Diao(Senegal) Fuller(Jamaica) and so many others Hull city too has internationals. Ronaldo plays in a tougher league then Messi, let messi come to EPL to prove himself. Forlan,Riera ,Owen,Kanoute all shone in La Liga, Ronaldo will score 80 goals playing in la liga, the defenders there are comical(i prefer la liga), i must confess |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by nyabinghi(m): 12:28pm On Nov 21, 2008 |
@Eastbay, Will u rate Gerrard,Lampard as disgraceful, thought they tried leaving Liverpool and Chelsea respectively. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by tubabie(f): 12:29pm On Nov 21, 2008 |
Eastbay:ok, ok ok. @ Dayo kanu you know i woudnt have had a problem with your posts most times if only u stuck to a line of reasoning without causing readers and posters alike so much stomach churning with reasoning gone bad. am a red devil but admit that u usually av a little truth in your posts mixed with tactical untruths because you hate man utd( the same on the goners' thread ). It will have been so much fun if we can analyze real footie, joke and yab often but educate ourselves always with the true position of things, We cant all be in the greatest clubs all at once but we can have fun supporting whichever club it is you support. @ Eastbay be objective right, i like that but be balanced. there are always two sides to a coin, haba. peace! one united. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Nobody: 12:34pm On Nov 21, 2008 |
Mr. akinalabi You have no right to tell me I'm silly.Did you read what people have been saying about me that prompted that statement? I repeat. No one on this thread is a You mention Marca:I ask-did Ronaldo deny those stories? You mention Rio: at least there wasn't the intense speculation that followed his case like Ronaldo's. Ronaldo knows he's crucial to us.My point is:he's using that to grab us by the balls and treat us with hidden disrespect. I said it before. No one player is greater than the team.If Ronaldo thinks otherwise,as he seems to be behaving or as his antics in the summer seem to show, then the mad-hatter is WRONG. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by nyabinghi(m): 12:37pm On Nov 21, 2008 |
@eastbay, I never liked Ronaldo but he is United's talisman. he is entitled to go to any club of his choice, is there no longer freedom of speech or association. United is greater than ferguson,Ronaldo and the rest. One UNited we are, we can argue sha |
