I felt cheated and my application decided unjustly.

DMainMan:
Hello bro. Sorry I skipped your letter but you should know that everyone here is busy.

I think they said you didn't explain the origin of your funds and it does not conform to what you wrote in your visa application.

They also said the salary you receive from your employer is variable and recurring every now and then. Your salary should be monthly and static.

They also said your stated expenses in your visa application does not conform with is in your account. You said you spend 20000 naira monthly for you and your children. This is quite small. Also the monthly expenses does not reflect the money that leaves your account monthly.

Lastly, they said your disposable income is almost twice your budget trip.

Try and adjust it. Before you apply again, send me an email so I can see it.

Good luck.

Thx bro, I could see that the eco did not go through the documents I uploaded as OTHER Evidence like cover letter, excel sheet where I narrated all the funds i recieved.

i guess eco acknowledged the salary and if you read he said my expenses in uk is almost twice disposable income which is not up to twice DI. Obviously he shot himself there. 831 pounds is 370k and twice my salary is above 500 k and my DI is above 400k, the balance in my statement of account is above in million which is genuine. I attached the investment certificates, in fact the bank wrote them as well for all the investments and stamped with my full name . I stated out the other income and there sources in an excel sheet with valid proofs, my children's father pays into the account for the children's support every, my statement of account shows the illustrations and their father's name for the transfers every month. I attached six months payslips detailing my monthly salary and that's exactly what comes to my account with the exact dates, including bonuses, leave allowance etc. All these amounts were detailed in all my yearly increment letter at work which I added to documentation. I got an introduction letter from office for the trip stating my role and the what I earn yearly with bonuses. My company is well known if they Google sef, they can get valid infos.

This is total cheating and I hope to lodge the complain i know that I am pained for the refusal but i will prove to a valid point with them. My statement of account is so clear. I even stated clearly that their father finance them monthly and i cant use their own expenses as mine cos its not my children applying but me. The painful part is I wasted 6months for this uk stuff rather than investing my account balance which would have yielded more.

You are the best, thx alot.
giselle237:
Mama di mama sorry. I will speak for myself. I didn’t see your refusal letter. Anyways if you feel they didn’t take time to review your application please send complaints through the complaints method others here have been using . Perhaps the decision will change. Calm down and you dont need anybody’s permission here to do what ur guts tell you to do.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by 1blessing: 9:43am On Dec 07, 2019
I deleberately deleted my post cos i felt pained. I know God does all, but from the beginning of my application I have been a loyal reader here and i adhered to all instructions here. But i was refused on flimsy excuse, on something i detailed in cover letter. To God what i presented were nothing but the truth. Not i single lie cos i was once banned over ten years ago. I believe u understand my carefulness and why pained that gurus here ignored my post.

Lee310:
Lol... you deleted a lot.

1Blessing I feel your pain and I really do understand you.

My best bet here is sit down and review your application very well before you reapply. If you want to reapply so soon, point out the mistakes in your cover letter. Don’t make it complicated because the ECO will picture it in their head. Go straight to the point and be truthful.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by 1blessing: 9:37am On Dec 07, 2019
Obviously this forum is selective in attending to people's issues, despite feeling blessed to have known this page. Its unfortunate and unfair for gurus we look out for to be selective. I posted my refusal letter and what I submitted to embassy yesterday, which was totally ignored, sending a reminder for the house to help analyse and another person posted his refusal note after which the gurus contributed. Its so unfair. Nothing is impossible before God.

If i were you, I wouldn't reapply, I will make a complain to there complain unit. You were denied unjustly, also, it seems the eco expected to see a valid tie to your home country. Like a child, maybe you schooling, aged parents, investments, etc. But I can feel your urgency to reapply.
T33cis:
Thank you for the response. I explained everything in my coverletter, I even gave instances and dates of some of the deposits.

If I am to reapply, should I provide the two bank statements I provided earlier or just my salary account? Also how soon should I reapply?

APPROVED grin grin

Submitted 14th October
Biometrics 30th October
Application received 30th October
Passport ready for collection 20th November
No conclusion mail.
Praise GOD with me.

After submission, I picked 30th Oct for biometrics not because there wasn't date but because that's when my spouse will be available as we were to apply together.
All the while, I didn't know I put monthly income where they asked for yearly income lipsrsealed until the day we finished biometric shocked village people cry
I came here to ask for any remedy to that.
I immediately mailed them, paid about 2k plus with my card. The responded same day and said nothing can be done about it. Arhhhh
I resorted to prayer as there was nothing I could do. I also had hope and believed that they must have seen people with such mistakes in the past and maybe whoever that responded to my mail can help me update since the bank statement even though not salary based but about that stated amount enters at different intervals from company to personal account. 1M was deposited a day before printing, to personal account just so there will be balnace even though the account is very very active but we don't keep savings there. More like deposit, exhaust, deposit again.

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by 1blessing: 1:09pm On Nov 20, 2019
please dont stop responding o, cos i like you and you are a nice person.
Suuz:
Most times, people don’t respond to certain questions if they are not mentioned because they don’t want issues, if you read like 10 pages back, you would see how a lady took it upon herself to insult me after I politely answered her questions but since my answer wasn’t what she wanted to hear, she started arguing with me and went as far as saying she didn’t ask me in the first place, because of that scenario, I have stopped responding to anyone’s questions, I just read and move along because I don’t want issues. In other words, people rather respond to questions directed at them because they don’t want issues, if they also think the question has been responded to over and over again previously and people are just too busy to respond to every question most of the time.

Women are so adorable just imagine her care for her family.
PreciousGemRubb:
Hello people, kindly advise, my parents have both visited me in 2018 but separately (early and late 2018) dad is retired while mum was working then. Now, mum will retire in January. I am thinking of applying for both of them for 2 years visitors visa before mum retires.
1. Do my mum need a letter from her employer saying she is visiting her daughter (she was given for previous application but she wouldn't be able to get one now as she is retiring soon).
2. Is it better to do them separately
3. I will be fully sponsoring them, do they still need their statement of account even if it doesn't have much money.
4. Dad's pension payment started after he visited in 2018 in his salary account but I send him money in his other account, does he need to submit both accounts.
5. Should I wait for mum to retire before applying for her if I am doing it separately.
6. My brother is currently serving and wants to visit me but my husband thinks he might be refused, he wants him to wait till when he comes for his MSc hopefully next year or 2021. Please can you advice me on which documents he needs to put together to enable him get the visa ( I really want him to visit before he applies for his student visa). Thanks
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by 1blessing: 4:58am On Nov 16, 2019
If truly all these you stated here are to be true, I will advise you complain about it true appropriate channel rather than spending money to re apply. This is total extortion by these ECO. They know Nigerian are quick to accept their useless judgements that is cos of severe denial on no thorough assessment. At least try to justify your claim, and if they still don't grant then you know you have tried and clear your doubts.
tofo:
My Application was rejected with the attached reason.
In my cover later, I explained thoroughly the inflow of 1.4 million as a bonus payment from my organization. This was even the narration of the credit. I transferred the money to my savings account and used it to buy treasury Bill's. I thoroughly detailed such including my other savings in the account. This is even outside the closing balance in my current account.
I uploaded family pics of my parents and I, their national IDs and the birth certificate including my car papers and house rent receipt to show home ties.

Please advise on what I need to do as all there is no significant inflow outside salary and the bonus mentioned above that is in my account and I provided all evidence to show such.
Can I appeal this decision as I believe my Cover letter was not read and my application was not thoroughly reviewed

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by 1blessing: 4:27am On Nov 16, 2019
Wow you are so blessed. Congrats. I like your courage
Skrskr:
I stated all my prior visa refusals (2 to be precise).

The first was in 2007, when I was still a minor, it was a settlement visa to the UK.
The second Australia, May 2019.

I had no cause to not declare it. My situation has since changed.

For example, prior to may, I was just a freelancer, no company, no invoice, just money coming to my account. There was no way to prove that they were legitimate earnings or not.

After that refusal, I set up my limited liability company, separated personal funds from company funds, started earning a salary of 1,000 USD per month. Provided my payslip, evidence of FIRS tax filed for my company. There was a structure. So there is no way, they will say my situation hasn't changed or deny me because Australia denied me. I also travelled to Dubai in July just to build travel history (my first trip outside Nigeria).

When I get back from the UK, I will reapply to Australia again as I do not see any reason why I should be refused if I have two trips under my belt and never overstayed and I would probably be able to provide them about 8 months payslip and some other relevant evidence, maybe real estate or treasury bills.

Last last, i dont think its a good idea to leave out details of previous refusals. If they find out (which I'm sure they will), it will prove to them that you plan to run away on getting to their UK.

I even lowkey feel like having previous refusals can even help you because you can easily prove how your situation has since changed. I guess.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by 1blessing: 11:58am On Nov 14, 2019
Hello @skrskr, congrats. Please did you state in your application that you were denied australia visa in your recent UK visa since they can access the info from their database?
Skrskr:
I understand you but would you prefer there was no avenue for complaint?
Not all refused visas actually do not have merit.
The ECOs are humans and I lowkey feel their job is to deny not grant visas from Nigeria.
When I posted my refusal decision, "gurus" on here (no offence) were asking me to not complain but wait a while till my circumstances change. Nothing needed to possibly change as I had good standings based on their rules. I am pretty certain there would have been a lot of people refused under similar circumstances to mine. Complaint is not an issue especially since it is a paid service.
To avoid everyone complaining, it's best they sit up and do their work to the letter.
I had an Australia visit visa refused in May, I couldn't complain because they refused based on facts. This UK refusal was based on laziness on the part of the ECO. I attached 50 supporting documents and could tell she probably checked two or three. Hence, I had grounds to complain. Who knows if he/she has refused thousands of other people by not checking their application thoroughly? They are not gods abeg. Even if everyone starts to complain, it's as simple as them taking a look and seeing if the complaints had merit. If not, they will probably uphold it.
