CelebritiesRe: Osuofia (Nkem Owoh) Kidnapped by 1forall: 10:46am On Nov 10, 2009
i think the kidnappers are cowards, they shd show some guts and go and kidnap the president, the governors, senators, House of reps and those in power that can make the struggles to be heard and not innocent people that are trying to make ends meet.
Such act shows the kidnapping is all to make money and they shd all the bombed.

Yes, just get a lawyer to write them formally (your branch and the offending branch). . . their response should improve when they see youre serious. . .
Meanwhile I think naija banks have only one MD, I doubt you met someone in a position to do so much about it esp since the act didnt occur at their branch.

Wait. . . didnt you get a text when the 150 was deducted?

CareerRe: Modified by 1forall(mod): 5:30pm On Nov 01, 2009
Wonder why no one has responded to this thread yet?
Anyway kommentato I think its brave of you to wanna make that career switch and IT is one field where there has been and almost always will be a shortage of qualified hands globally.

I dont think you need to visit India to train for the CCNA tho',  ahn ahn! save your money for your CCIE exams when ure ready. An even if you can afford it, I think the CCNA is a bit too basic to require that extent of training and prep. Afterall its just one book, one exam.

IMO the best approach to training for and passing the CCNA exam is to try to work in an environment which requires the skills you want to learn - some ISP, multinational org or phone company (the smaller ones might be easier to get in and would still serve the purpose). You know they say experience is the best teacher, that way, self-study with the right materials can only cement what you see and use at work with what you read, all in your head.

I self-studied for my CCNA exam over 30 days while I was doing 'IT' with some small ISP so I think you can do same. Just try fix yourself up somewhere and dont mind the pay as long as your focus is to get some hands-on in preparedness for your exam.
