Any ideas how I can rid my PC of this pesky program?

ComputersGuys be careful, there's a trojan on FB! by 1forall(op): 5:51pm On Oct 20, 2009
Hi all,
I clicked on a friend's link on FB this morning and now at intervals some program takes over, puts whatever is on-screen into the background and asks me to input certain displayed words in its input area, all this while a 3-minute timer counts down to shut down. I've taken a couple of screen shots to show here. Anyone here had a similar experience?
Now what the heck do I do, its pretty annoying angry

I remember a 2-party system was what gave us the freeest, fairest election in our nations history yet.
But I think the voting pattern also matters, if we adopt 'option A4' again, I dont think the number of parties would matter really as we cant have more than 4 major parties surrounded by many minority parties abi?

I'm sure someday soon Nairaland and moderators 'll quarantine topics with tribal bias (esp on the home page) they always generate snafus(and traffic I guess!!) grin

But we need less strife in our land, I think there are more pressing issues.

I called his mother in law earlier and she did not know by the way she was speaking to me. He told me that he told her but when I was speaking to her she seemed to talk to me as usual so I suppose he didn't tell her.
I think you meant your mother in-law. Please dont fall for that. If he's been like that for 5 yrs, then I'm guessing its part of his character and his mom may not exactly be surprised, and stay at his side if she's pushed to take one. Is he a  last born kid?

You cant let others make your decisions at this time. Or you're a last born too? Now you need to talk to those who love you, and plan a strategic way out of this and forward. I'm sorry your in this situation. . . really am. Count your losses and move, see it as a stepping to stone anyhow you can.

I know its hard sha but you need to keep trying. Most essentially, try to develop your personal relationship with God cos he's the greatest healer ever known.

Wish you the best!

PoliticsRe: Happy Independence? by 1forall: 10:00am On Oct 01, 2009
We need a new independence, the one in 1960 is expired. Independence from the greedy ruling class, from the politicians criminals, illiterates and thugs that are in the leadership, and independence from our 'naija' mentality which has been ingrained in us over the years and if we arent genuine in that fight for an new independent nigeria, this same situation shall prevail even at 100!
But for now the average nigerian is fettered by the system, so theres even no independence to be happy about. We should have stopped thinking we were independent since IBB 'annuled' the freeest and fairest election ever in our country's history!

It was option A4! No ballot  boxes, no voters cards, just count the people and announce the results there immediately.
Even with that, where are the candidates now? arent they in the Government system already? Or does anyone among us want to stand up?
