The end date of his POF (5th of AUG) still falls within 31days of the day he intends to apply (30th of Aug). I believe he can still use it, less there's something else I'm missing. scobyy2007: |
FULL Vaccinations taken in Nigeria is recognised by the UK govt as fully vaccinated as long as the complete dose (2jabs for astrazeneca) is taken at least 14 days before your travel to the UK. Not all vaccines are approved by the UK, some countries have theirs and so you might be termed fully vaccinated in such countries, but not the UK. Vaccines currently being distributed in Nigeria are approved vaccines. Oggg: |
The rule says your POF should be in your account for 28days minimum and the last day stated on the POF should not exceed 31 days from the date of application. So your POF is valid for presentation till 5th of Sept. Tybello101: |
No o! Don't give room to village people! POF is strictly MAINTENANCE & TUITION FEES! Chiderahauxin: |
I believe the UK govt. Stated that if you're in the UK for masters program (1 or 2 years) you can apply to get a Post Graduate Work Visa https://www.gov.uk/graduate-visa (which doesn't require you to have a sponsor, neither work nor school). You don't need to have a job to apply for the 2years PGW visa after your masters. If you're going for a PhD course, you can get 3 years PGW visa with same terms. If you get a job that pays above a certain salary band at any time, you can apply for a skilled worker visa https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa I hope this helps. DOK987: |
Funny enough, has there been any official release to this effect? Moreover who is DCO really? Who has heard about DCO? Who set them up? When were they setup? Who set them up? Where is their secretariat located? Anyone can cook up a website and claim any service offering. Moreover, I checked and it seems the domain is newly aquired... Sounds dodgy! Not playing down the severity of the news if true, but we have seen it many times in the past where we have seen sensational news that actually turned out to be a hoax! But emotions have already overcome reasoning and its too late to start believing the truth. If you've CONFIRMED ANSWERS to the above questions, please reply this comment, I'm open to learning. |
Because you're blind to see how she was dressed... Wait until your sister or mother is harrassed sexually... Then let's see if you will still come here and spit out this nonsense! kingdman: |
I'ts obvious you don't like your brother's wife, so much that it shows. They have given you the hint that it's time for you to bounce! You should stop complaining though, she isn't your househelp nor does she report/defer to you. It's her house don't forget and she can do it anyhow she wants to... Your brother isn't complaining, neither should you. Mind you, you don't own that room. If they want to use it, they can use it at will. With little or no notice to you. Get out of the house, rent your own apartment! Stop whinning! This is the reason most young couple prefer not to allow family members stay with them. Gang90: |
I don't think he has said anything off o. Save for he's a police officer and should have some reserve on civility. But he has said it... If you now come and want to kill him because of end SARS... He will kill you too and kill himself with the last bullet. No man would stand and look when another person wants to come kill him... He his a police officer, but he also has his rights, including right to life. Still on still... #EndPoliceBrutality #EndPoliceBrutality #EndPoliceBrutality Frankice12: |
Well, legally, the flight plan he filed was perfectly in check.. he had 30 mins of fuel left and that is what is required in aviation. The problem, I think, comes from the fact that they had burnt 30 mins of fuel already (10mins on ground, 20 mins test flight). Could this be a miscalculation that caused the issue? Jakumo: |
![]() You sef wicked! You should have left him feeling enlightened naa... lol The subject matter expert talk weak me... lol FarahAideed: |
...BUT there are many small helicopters that do not have a provision for a black box, in fact, they are not required to have a black box (a.ka. CVR & FDR) to operate. As for fuel dumping... let's not even make that a topic. Simple and short... not all aircrafts have the option to jettison fuel mid air... It is not and has never been a requirement for flight in any country! Let's not be too petty. ShinnBet: |
You might have it wrong here bro. Questions to ask include: 1. Does the AC have the provision to jettison fuel? NO, so this fuels more questions into the direction of "how the fuel tanks were empty on impact" There was no fire, no explosion, no soot to show carbon burn, nothing like that. The pilot might have planned for a 2hrs + flight, but probably headwind and other factors we might not know stretched his flight time into the enduranceperiod (he might have been carried away too, or tried to see how he could stretch it to the Lagos Airport without raising a dust but couldn't meet up. Remember, global aviation regulations require you to land with at least 30mins of fuel left. 2. Does a BELL 206 have a blackbox installed? NO So this doesn't align with the talk of the blackbox was stolen in anyway. 3. Did the AC go into a spin? Obviously not! The Aircraft came straight down (from eyewitness account) and this could be seen from the wreck. A spinning AC crashing would have a larger disperse area of crash debris. Moreover, a loss of engine power doesn't have to equate to a fatal crash. As helicopter pilots, one training you must pass through before even getting your license is loss of engine power. Every heli pilot knows how important it is to get their Autorotaion right. Loss of engine power due to no fuel, he could have entered into an autorotation but probably didn't get it right and his Main rotor speed went in to the red. This might also fan the talks of "the pilot knew he had low fuel but tried to push it to its limit to land at the airport. 4. Was the pilot qualified to fly? Yes & No... Yes because he has the experience and license to fly that aircraft, No because his yearly medicals Expired on August 6. NCAA gave a directive to allow for medicals extension for pilots since we couldn't carry out our license renewal due to the covid-19 pandemic. This brings us to the question on who is right? Quorum who says they applied for an extension or NCAA who says they never got an application for extension. Lastly, question 5. What of the recordings between the pilot and the ATC. This, in addition to the ATC monito history, is the only concrete way to understand what transpired in the last moments of the ill-fated Bell 206B flight. It was a painful loss to the aviation community. ShinnBet: |
nony43:The problem with people like you is that if this man was kept there till after the elections, you'll still say "He was kept there instead of retiring when he attained the retirement age, to perfect their rigging plan" How can they pressure someone who attained retirement age (Age he had declared many many maaaannnnyyy years ago) to retire on his birthday. You must be a movie director! your plot is second to none. |
I'll ask you this... Even with all the billion billion DOLLARS, US still can't get enough ventilators. That should tell you something that "TO HELL WITH YOUR MONEY" This equipment is scarce, period. It's hardly available, countries are squabbling to get any ventilator they can lay their hands upon... It's not about Money. bjnice: |
Funny thing is everyone is criticizing the govt for asking for Ventilators. We've finally bullied them into deleting the tweet. We've forgotten: 1. These ventilators are highly scarce, every country is searching to increase their stock. 2. Elon Musk made the offer first, saying simply, if you want it, ask me... I see nothing wrong with Min. Of Fin asking officially. 3. Nigeria wasn't the only country asking to be included in the free ventilators distribution. You have Ukraine, you have Spain, you have Chile, you have European countries asking too. I have attached a screenshot of the days tweet on Elon Musk's page and also a link to his tweet. Funny thing is that the same Nigerians trashing the govt for asking, are themselves asking Elon Musk to give to them to distribute in Nigeria Nigeria isn't perfect, and we have serious FLAWS BUT! Not everything is CRITICISM. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1245009716935188481?s=08

Kingspin:But the video shows a helicopter (precisely a Robinson R44) flying above them and not a plane. If they wanted to prevent a plane from landing they would have infomed the aircraft a long time ago. Not when the aircraft is approaching to land. In fact it will be against aviation rules to prevent an aircraft from landing when it's on final approach without any concrete reason. This is not a ship that you can suspend at sea for days/weeks... The aircraft has limited fuel on board. |
beresponsible:I guess the word shipping doesn't ring a bell... |
We don't even need alomo bitters here... we have ACTION BITTERS, CONFAM BITTERS (Made by a respectable Nigeria company - Intercontinental Distillers Limited). These are far better than the Alomo, trust me. www.idlng.com |

God bless you plenty These same people will be fanning the embers of discord... And so profit from the chaos... Who suffers? You and I... Imagine the hatred and anger he must have whipped up by that singular post. God save Nigeria from men like these! Bolustical: |
Quick question: how many of us have actually checked and confirmed these prices?? Go to Ethiopian Air's website... I just think this statement of Chidoka is quite inciting. Do an average and you'll see how much of a difference we're even talking about. Air fare are not eveb static to start with so this cannot even be taken as fact. |
alwaysvik:Bless you bro. It's exactly the same reason (on the local scene) that flights to and from places like Yenogoa, Ilorin, Sokoto, Asaba, Enugu etc are more expensive. This has nothing to do with tribe! Don't let someone fan the embers of discord amongst us. Things an airline put into consideration before fixing fees: 1. Viability of the route 2. Fuel (how much fuel is burnt and where to refill) 3. Airport amenities and parking, airport charges and airport facilities i.e IFR landing aids, operating hours, weather... And size of runway (the size of the runway will determine what aircraft can land and takeoff from there... Bigger planes are usually cheaper, cause they carry more people at a time... Imagine why a molue/luxury bus will usually be cheaper than a regular bus going to the same destination) . 4. All airplanes according to FAA/NCAA rules must have enough fuel to fly to its destination, hold for 30 mins (in case of an issue) and still have enough fuel to fly to an alternate airport in case it can't land there. Lagos is a major hub in West Africa and you easily have access to most facilities you need as an air carrier. So you should expect flights from Lagos to be cheaper in most cases. Abuja is the next major hub in Nigeria (especially as its the capital city) surrounding "international" airports (Kano & Kaduna) enjoy that benefits as planes can easily get access to facilities not available in these airports). Enugu is not a high traffic point so you don't expect an aircraft to pickup only 10 people and fly to China.... They'll have to do some hopping (with stops in-between), probably pick up passengers from Enugu, take them to Lagos for an overlay and then load it up from Lagos and proceed to China. 1. For those who say it's the Igbos that travel most to China, your correct, but I'll like to ask... FROM WHERE DO THEY TRAVEL FROM MOST? Most of them have most of their businesses in the southwest and in the North and will most likely travel from where the business is stationed... Will I now as an igbo man, want to go to China and then I'll deck up and carry all my bags and then first travel to Enugu because I'm an Igbo man and I am patriotic... It makes no economic sense. 2. For those saying the north has the most international Airports... Please check your records again. The tribal sentinents being whipped up are so unnecessary. I believe Mr. Chidoka who was a one time minister of Aviation should be in the best position to answer his question. These flights disparity didn't happen today... It has been dictated even before he was born by economics of scale. Let's think thorough what we say, and post online... We might not have control over the ripple effect. |
We are all here arguing... Without truly, listening to,the video... I don't hear anywhere "Buhari" was called. They said they are going home for the new year and some people see it as a cue that the video is recent. Quick question... Is this the only new year the military have spent fighting bokoharam? This video isn't recent, let's not get an erection, wasting our time analysing rubbish with sentimental eyes. |
Yup.... That was me... Great job! mayorall: |
