Thank God you came out alive. Nemesis would catch up with everyone of them. And they would all face the consequences.
Please let's all be vigilant and watch the vehicles that we board to our places of work and school.
Let's spread the word and report this to the police... All of these are end results of a dead and non functional government |

Nickyblithe: He is making a valid point for those of us who will want to get a job at the federal level from now. But for those who don't care much about federal jobs can ho 4 it while hustling for jobs in other parastetals Bros don't mind them,it's so surprising that Poverty and unemployment has made graduates not to reason beyond their nose. If i apply for the same teaching job in a secondary school i stand to be paid 58k or more and a FG is paying me 23k. I can always develop myself and get better jobs before the two years........ |

Quakertellicus1: No it won't....and neither would an increase in oil prices change our condition either.
It won't for the simple reasons that
1.Agricultural prices too fluctuate just as badly as oil prices. Even worse.
2.Just like oil....we do not control the price of agric products.
One more thing....if you want to have a successful agric sector.....you need lots of large scale plantaiton like farms...which Nigeria does not have.
Agric and oil will not save us. Industrial development based on our raw materials would. Getting there is going to take hard work and more pain...but the benefits are worth it.
(Agric worked in the 1960's because we had a guaranteed market in the UK.Not anymore.). We no longer have guaranteed markets in the UK because they know and understand that we neither farm or own plantations like it used to be. As for the plantationS they can return if our government decides to put their heart into it. Anambra state today has started export of agricultural produce as a means of generating revenue internally, imagine how it would look like if we have plantations dotting different states in the nation. And of course we can also go into processing and a lot more.... Come to think of it markets are sourced when products are available |

Quakertellicus1: The minute you coupists realize that our problem is that our economy does not have a stable source of revenue due to our reliance on revenues from selling oil, and mining and agric products.....whose prices we do not control....you would wake up to the fact that the Army cannot do anything different from what this admin is doing.
If you want a good economy, you would have to stop relying on oil....and take the hard road to an industrial economy. It is because it is a hard road....and becacuse you Nigerians do not want to work for your money that you refuse to take that road. Which of course this government and past ones are not ready to. If they should pick up agriculture alone it would in conjuction with the oil change our situation.... Their attitude brings us back to Stage one |

edorhe14: Sometimes I just feel for women. You will be on ur own minding ur biz and man will just woo u. And when u agree and yall starts dating, all of a sudden he gets bored, and he says its Over. I am a man myself but I look at the from another perspective tho. In this case a man came and dangle marriage to her face and she fell for it. I feel for her
That been said May God grand her the Fortitude to bear the loss. In as much as i agree with you,the truth is anyone who wants to have a relationship and then brings the money ish first is a fraudster, she should have known this and also those plying her trade would have known that it would be tough for any guy to TRULY LOVE them she should also have checked him severally before giving in |

Op i'll dare say @21 and 24 both of you are way too young.. The guy seems to understand that fact that's why he's being truthful and evasive at the same time you still have so many years ahead of you both, instead of bothering yourselves with things like marriage and pre marital sex set goals and targets and achieve them together, this will help both of you to think less about sex, marriage and strenghten the bond between both of you |
Family › Re: Help I Can't Believe This Is The Kind Of Man I Married. by 1miccza: 7:09pm On Jun 05, 2016 |
I think on the contrary, you are the one with a bit of issues here OP,and it's pushing him away.. (1)Don't ever think you are a non- Nigerian, here in Nigeria, you as a fresh wife shouldn't be asking your husband how long your in law intends to stay it simply shows you don't want his people and if care is not taken you'll completely isolate him from his people which is catastrophic. Most Igbo ladies are guilty of this. How much more an Edo man.. This is happening in my family now (2) As a new wife and a fresh family you shouldn't go out to pick fights it doesn't speak well of you and your husband. Looks to me like your husband isn't the type to be easily pried away from his family..
However you can sit down and try to discuss this with him..
P.S. Don't ever think of stepping into a family feud in your new marriage |

@Op i think a three pronged approach of prayer, fasting and psychological teasing could work. I.e as you fast and pray try to do something that would make her jealous , if you do this and she doesn't get jealous and change, it's either she doesn't really like you or there's another person in the picture.
P.S don't ever attempt to be truely unfaithful |
Politics › Re: Nigerians Reacts To President Buhari's Twit About The Murdered Woman In Kano by 1miccza: 8:41am On Jun 05, 2016 |
As Someone that has lived in Kano,i dare say she isn't the first of this kind of savagery, when it comes to their religion and Muhammed everyone else is seen as an infidel.. While there as non northerners and Christians we avoid anything related to religion or their prophet even in Lagos here they cover up express ways and major roads when it's time for their prayer and everyone looks for other routes to avoid problem.. If she had known, she would have ignored them completely and stayed in her shop until they are done... Mr President was just being cautious and diplomatic by presenting a statement that was open ended and could swing both ways so as not to be faulted.... |

linearity: If you had done a little due diligence, you would have found out that, she is not a Nigerian and does not live in Nigeria. She is an Indian lady, who lives in Kolkata India.
BTW, GSM came to Nigeria around 2000/2001, i.e. about 16 years ago, I remember getting my first MTN line in 2001, and there were even cell phones in Nigeria before then, through NITEL albeit very limited and expensive. Bros na so oo,we all know the person in question might not be a Nigerian,we are just catching our fun |
