Alexgman1: We all have one girl, lady or woman out there we are deeply inlove with but can not date or have access to her maybe because: 1) she has rejected your proposal or 2) shes beyond your level and class or 3) you cant ask her out because shes in a seriously relationship (probably engaged) and cant double date.
But if per-adventure a lady who is deeply inlove or crushing on you toast you and ask you to give her a chance will you accept?

annford: Most South Africans are bitter souls. Why is it that most African Countries feel threatened by the doggedness of Nigerians? I have 2 South Africans in our Company and these two speak of Nigeria and Nigerians with great disdain. Most Africans are lazy and feel uneasy when they see Nigerians come to their countries and show them how to succeed. We may not know how valuable we are here in Nigeria until we travel and meet Nigerians who work hard abroad and are succeeding while at it. I always tell people that the enemy of the black man is his fellow black person. White don't pull whites down, but blacks? ...
EmagNig: An unnamed Divisional Police Officer, DPO of a station in Bauchi has been called out for allegedly torturing 2 people to death for stealing chicken.
According to the allegation by one Bulama Bukarti, the officer was alleged to have collected payments from the families of the victims and the alleged buyer of the stolen chickens, before proceeding to torture the men, numbering 3.
One of the men reportedly survived and he was the one who narrated the story.
Bulama wrote on Twitter:
Just when you think it can’t get any worse, they’d say ‘hold on’. This morning, BBC Hausa did a story on how a DPO in Bauchi tortured two men to DEATH and left the 3rd with FIVE fractures for allegedly stealing seven CHICKENS.
Here’s what happened according the surviving victim: The victims were arrested for allegedly stealing seven chickens. The man they sold them to was sommoned and ordered to pay N2,000 each for thirteen, instead of seven chikens, and he did. The suspects were ordered by the DPO to pay N4,000 and their parents paid a total of N12,000.
The DPO told the parents to go; that he’d release the suspects later. He then ordered his officers to tie the suspects up. He told the suspects to be chanting “stealing has ended” in Hausa & started beating them with a big stuff in their legs heads, chests, all over their bodies.
The first suspect died instantly. The second died for head and neck injuries in a hospital. The third is currently home nursing five factures including two on the knees of each leg. The second suspect’s mother related to BBC Hausa how her son died tragically in the hospital.
The Bauchi State Police Cammand said it’s set up a committee to investigate the matter but the DPO was not suspended, much less, arrested. When pressed by BBC, the police spokesman said “You can’t arrest a senior policeman!”.
The alleged torturer is still the DPO of the division.
Incidents like this are all too common in Nigeria, as well as their sheer corruption, that police’s bad reputation in the eyes of Nigerians. I call on the @PoliceNG to take over this matter. The DPO must be investigated and prosecuted for culpable homicide in a transparent way.

xynerise: True, and it is funny when married men tell their side chics " I love my wife"
Honestly , to the best of my knowledge the ''i love my wife line'' is just at the lips and nothing else, but again a philanderer is always a philanderer and a cheat always a cheat. I have come to realize that cheating has to do with our mindset and beliefs.

Dpsychologist: Nigerians Are Unaware That Africa's Greatest Youtuber Is A Nigerian
Alot of Nigerians do not know that Africa's biggest YouTuber is a Nigerian. Interestingly, that title belongs to one 29-year-old Nigerian comedian, scriptwriter, and video producer who oddly doesn’t have as much clout back home as he has loyal fans abroad.
With over 6.39 million subscribers and more than 1 billion views on his 300+ videos, Mark Angel is technically the biggest YouTuber in Africa.(Social blade, 2020) The Nigerian is best known for the Mark Angel Comedy series of shorts on YouTube, often featuring child comedians such as his 9-year-old niece, Emmanuella Samuel, and her sister, “Aunty” Success Madubuike (age 5 as of 2019). Mark Angel’s YouTube channel was the first African comedy channel to reach one million subscribers. Mark Angel was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He had a stint at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Osun State, Nigeria, where he had been accepted to study medicine, but he eventually abandoned his studies due to family reasons.
After he left college, he spent time in Nigeria gaining experience in cinematography and theater. In 2013, he began independent filmmaking under the name, Mechanic Pictures, having been unable to find stable work in Nigeria’s film industry, Nollywood. His skits became an instant hit. In 2017, Mark Angel Comedy received a plaque from YouTube for having reached one million subscriptions. It was the first Nigerian-based YouTube channel to reach that threshold. Mark Angel’s niece, Emmanuella, has won comedy awards in Nigeria and Australia for her work with Mark Angel and is Africa’s youngest YouTube award winner. In 2018, she even bagged a nomination in Nickelodeon’s famous Kids’ Choice Awards. Mark Angel Comedy videos can reach up to a million views during the first week after posting. Few people know it but Mark Angel is, by some distance, Africa’s most successful YouTuber.
So, How Come Most Nigerians Don’t Know This? Short Answer: It’s probably because Nigerians don’t care about YouTube and YouTubers that much, at least, not as much as they care about other social platforms. As a matter of fact, compared to other social media platforms that are popular in Nigeria like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram, YouTube has only a tiny fraction of active users of which only an even smaller fraction can be termed “consistent users.” Maybe it’s not even Mark Angel, perhaps the fact of the matter is that most Nigerians don’t even know any of the biggest YouTubers in Nigeria.
And Why’s This? Hootsuite’s State of Digital report placed the number of internet users in Nigeria at 98.39 million as of 2019. Of the 98.39 million Nigerian internet users, it was found that 54 percent access the internet on a daily basis while only 12 percent (24 million) have active social media accounts.
Additionally, WhatsApp was found to be the most active social media platform in the country with 85 percent of internet users. Facebook placed second with 78 percent, Instagram came third at 57 percent, followed by FB Messenger at 54 percent. YouTube is only fifth on the rankings with 53 percent. And that says a lot about the popularity of the platform in Nigeria, and by extension, the popularity of the rockstars on the video-sharing platform in these parts.
Here’s Why YouTube Is Slacking In These Parts
Despite the increase in the number of internet users in Nigeria, overall internet penetration remains quite low, with only about 50 percent of the population connected to the internet, compared to the global average of 57 percent. Besides that, many Nigerians who have access to the internet cannot afford to stream videos online, plus there’s the issue of spotty internet connections.
All these hamper YouTube usage in Nigeria, making the platform less popular and less frequently-used than other social platforms. It’s for this reason that the likes of Mark Angel get the bulk of their viewership from abroad. “It is very discouraging for me as a video content creator,” lamented Tobi Ayeni, a YouTube creator popularly known as MissTechy, who spoke to TechPoint last year.
“Imagine going through a lot of stress to shoot and upload a great video, only for people to watch just the first one minute or skim through because they are trying to manage the data they have,” she complained.
It’s a feeling shared by Dimma Umeh , a fast-rising Nigerian vlogger who runs a fast-growing YouTube channel where she bosses all things, fashion, makeup, and lifestyle, though, according to her, things are beginning to improve. “I would say that adoption [of YouTube] has been gradual, especially when compared to other platforms where we often create short-form content,” she tells WeeTracker .
“In the past two years, however, creators like me have seen a sharp increase in the number of viewers viewing from Nigeria and that gives us hope.”
@OP are you aware that with strong convincing skills , this stats here in this post could land you a big deal with you tube? And bring in some very big investment into the country?
ojive: The number of Nigerian women and girls who leave for the middle east to offer their services as domestic help has taken on a new dimension, with some reaching out to anyone who can save them from what they allege is domestic slavery.
In the last few weeks, TVC News has been on the receiving end of SOS calls from at least three victims who say their lives are in danger.
We are staying with their stories and connecting the dots to unravel the syndicate behind this criminal but lucrative enterprise.
gimakon: A quick question I want to ask and know hearts of peeps.
I have a badass programmer pal. Full stack engineer. Recently did a job for someone, and made some real good cash. Like up to $120,000. The money came from building software for 3 microfinance banks in the country. He earns over 450,000 Naira as salary here in Nigeria as well. We got talking yesterday and he's telling me he cannot stay in Nigeria, that he's resigning immediately after lock down for airports are over.
His argument is 450,000 Nigerian Naira equals 1,162.97 United States Dollar, wheras in the US / Canada for instance, the salary is way higher.
Question is what do you think ?
Guy if i were in his shoes i'll resign so fast that even flash of Marvel comics would doff his hat
Apeshy102: Life may never remain the same for Mr Emmanuel Iloabuchi Iloanya after the Officer in Charge of Awkuzu Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), Mr. James O. Nwafor and his men allegedly killed his son Mr Chijioke Iloanya without getting justice.
Mr Iloanya in a telephone chat with News9naija recounts how his son was arrested and gruesomely killed in cold blood by one Mr Jame O. Nwafor, now a retired police officer attached to Awkuzu SARS who led his boys to a naming ceremony and arrested attendees which many of the arrested never made it out alive, unfortunately, Mr Chijioke John Ilonanya was amongst those who never made it out alive.
Upon learning about his arrest, on November 31, 2012, Mr Illoanya in company of his wife went to the Awkuzu Police Station were they met their son in handcuff, though they saw him there, they were driven out of the police station.
Unsettled with the proceedings, Mr Iloanya proceeded to the office of the Anambra State Commissioner of Police where he met the Commissioner and his deputy. Upon narrating his sons ordeal to them, they promised him that nothing would happen to his son, but this promised was never fulfilled.
Upon his subsequent visit to the commissioner, Mr Nwafor was summoned but never showed up.
It was on his visit to the Commissioner's office in January 2013 that the Deputy Commissioner of Police told him of his son's death.
Mr Iloanya proceeded to the Awkuzu SARS office where he met Mr James Nwafor. Upon request for his son's whereabouts, Mr Nwafor told him, "Go, I have wasted your son". This insensitive statement didn't go down well with Mrs Iloanya as she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital upon hearing what Mr Nwafor said.
Mr Iloanya didn't stop there, he went on to seek justice for his slain son, if not for anything but to at least retrieve his corpse from the SARS.
He met one, Rt Col. Emmanuel Udechukwu (now Late), a human right activist through who Mr Iloanya delivered the sum N1.5M to the Awkuzu SARS but nothing came forth.
Till now, Mr Iloanya has not set eyes on his son nor his corpse.
Mr Iloanya is calling on the Nigerian Police Force, NGOs and well meaning Nigerian to help him get justice for his son. He said, "I know that my son is dead, but i just want justice"
