You are getting me outside my context, the possibilities surrounding these situationship is that

1. that is not the 1st time he will assault her
2. he is a serial abuser

if these two are correct,]it is unfathomable why such a man will install cctv inside.[/

humans dont care if God is watching But BBnaija as taught me people are very weary of cameras esp. when they know its ON ... that man didnt make contact with the camera angle through out ... its means he is oblivion of it, the woman installed it, No p !

You dont have to get ruffled, its not out of place for people to ask questions its only norm every crime is subjected to investigation and fair hearing smiley
As I said before, go and watch crime documentaries, you have alot to learn.

and where did i dispute people dont or cant have a cctv at home, cheesy

A man cant commit crime in front of a cctv and graciously leave it, knowing what he stands to lose except the man is a retard
...

why am i indifferent if the man had installed the cctv he will have "primary" access to feeds and he would have deleted asap ...

the woman had undenied access to the footage cos she planted it .. however justice be serve
Why then were you making it seem unfathomable that the husband could install CCTV in his own home?

He is indeed a retard. People tend to forget the cameras are even there. Go and watch crime documentaries, people have been nabbed by the CCTV cameras they placed in their own homes. It's not uncommon.

I'm not suprised this is the stupid take you lot are having, if there was no proof, you'd ask for proof. Now there is video evidence, you want it quashed.

how will he know, why will an abuse husband install a cctv .. can you handcuff yurself ?? thats a spy camera footage
A woman that spend her hard earn money to buy a spy camera, will ensure her "hard money" did not waste.
imagine d week you install the spy camera, your monster husband refuse to act what will you do cheesy go n watch 3rd marriage on youtube it is there

The man is "WRONG" no doubt, my concern is should the man lost is livelihood will that woman take responsibility b4 the choldren she destroyed him
A mere divorce could have suffice but she went xtreme
You're an illiterate aren't you? Have you never heard about people having CCTV in their homes? For security? It's obviously a new concept you can't grasp.

Illiterate talk say nah spy camera lol.

A mere "divorce" later people like you will turn around to say "Ashewo dey her eye"

Leave the kids out of your mouth, you don't care about them.

All her actions in that video is invalid .... she knows the cctv is on , she chose that angle, she is the one recording you dont expect her to react in any way that will limit her chances to gather empathy nd nail the man

it reminds me of Ruth kadiri movie, 3rd marriage 🤣 watch if you can smiley
someone like cococandy wil neva watch a movie like that
You be mumu. So the husband doesn't know the camera is there? What if it was his idea to install it?

Did she tell him to put his hands on her?

I thought you people always says you want proof? Even with the evidence, you've still managed to twist it so you can justify it.

So, do you believe releasing the video was a right action?

Everybody always believe they are infallible, until anger makes you do stupid things.

No two situations are the same and understand your partner. He was trying to reason with her by asking why she was sending a message that could make him lose his job. The wife out of "love" may have taken a drastic action to save her marriage. Some walking way could imply " i have done my worse, that is your problem......." While in some situation it may work. This man, i can tell is a logical man judging by him listening to his wife and informing the kids to leave with all the anger in him. It is serious disrespect to be messaging a mans co worker. Where was her dad when she wanted to message the mans co worker? She could have informed her dad about the man suspected philandering. We are all traditional in some way, he as a man felt emanciated in his house when she threatened to call her dad.

. I am not sure you understand Yoruba, so i could pick nuances from the short video that others without the understanding of the language may not pick.

The man obviously will regret his action as he took the anger too far, but noticed everything he was throwing was to the wall to vent the anger. If he truly wanted to hurt her , he could have. The woman had all the time to sit down , download the cctv and send out to whoever to destroy her home. Is peaceful separation or divorce no longer common sense? I can even tell this man is not extreme, and most likely counselling may have resolved their issues. The man was stupid i admit. But as a wife, she could have done better than destroying her image and that of her family in the way every tom, dick and harry is now discussing their issue.

Part of the essence of marriage is to protect your partner in some situations, especially when you can tell (s)he is on the expressway of self destruct.
I'm done here.

she took an action that provoked the man. A better way to descalate was to at least address the immediate concern of the man. A simple " i am not trying to make you lose your job, lets talk about this when the kids are not here" will go a long way.

I am not asking you to agree with me to continue argument, i am providing real life skill that can be useful if you are married.

Telling the man he was going to call her Dad also triggered him, it is a gaslighting move to further provoke the man.
Oh really? So women should no longer keep silent, they should address the immediate concerns? You can turn around to claim provocation?

That man was not looking for any response, he wanted a fight from the getgo.

Why are you putting the onus on the woman to get the man to act reasonable in front of their children? No be the man's body dey hot?

She only threatened to call her dad when it got physcial. She was pushed to wall and needed help!

He lost his cool and did something crazy. I even feel deep down he die not want the objects he was throwing to hit her, he was just so mad . The issue was not well managed by both parties. The video should not have gotten outside. I suspect the wife released it to shame the father of her kids to lose his job and shame him.

Most people just looking at it one way

Anger is madness.

Two things i could glean from the information is the approach of the wife was dismissive when the man told her do you want to make me lose my job because base on the conversation i suspect the lady was s3nding text to possibly her husband co worker who she suspect her husband was dating......

Also, the man felt emanciated in the midst of the anger when she threatened to call her dad. The wife could have continued with the conversation or ask the kids to leave so she could explain her own side. She did not deescalate the situation and the man felt gaslighted.

What the woman did by releasing the video is worse She has shamed her kids , her self, her family. Why not separate temporarily or divorce if all else fails?
Pls explain to me how she didn't handle the situation well? Didn't you see where she tried to walk away silently and he stopped her?

Didn't you see that she only spoke up when he pushed her violently?

Is there another way to de-escalate a situation aside walking away? 🤔 Pls teach us.

You just spinned and twisted this scenario to make sense in your eyes. I salute your mental gymnastics.
