You're right. But those kids that 'say they aren't Nigerian but their parents are' are those that haven't been to Nigeria. Just think about it , they can't identify with a place they have never been to.

Besides when British-Nigerians identify with their nigerian roots, people in Nigeria are quick to shoot us down and say we're not Nigerian enough
