Don't derail from the point I made. Y'all pushing everything on Africans/Nigerians.
Your stupid comment showed you use Americans as a yardstick,

'if America's also believe therefore it must be real'

Hmmm. I have heard stories like this several times but how come that not all dead people appear to living people? How come that not every body has seen ghost? I am advanced in age all I have been hearing is somebody saw somebody saw, I have never seen.

So you are saying that they all had THE SAME DREAM, THE SAME NIGHT about their dad visiting them because they were all worried about THE SAME THING? how exactly? I don't think the narrator of this experience gave that much details for you to arrive at that conclusion.

I have been worried about a lot of things all my life, and I don't remember all of them reflecting in my dreams.
Why shouldn't siblings ALL worry about their fathers mortality?

You simply read between the lines. While that was a smart thing to do and not taking away the possibility, I don't see how that explains his sisters having the same experience, plus you don't have all the facts.

I don't think you've really explained how our worries play out in our dreams, does this happen all the time?
I already explained how his sisters had the same experience, they were all equally worried about their dad passing away, so that worry also crept up into their dreams aswell.

I'm guessing the father was not in the best of health before he died.

As I explained to another poster, bad dreams are a result of people's phobias

Have you neve dreamt about something that is on your mind?

Yes love I have had many.

And I have had one that came to pass in real life after I had seen it in a dream. Exactly as it was in the dream.

But that's another matter.

Dream or no dream, doesn't change validity of one's experience.
Exactly, bad dreams are based off people's phobias and worries.

So because you had a dream that came true, you must you're some kind of divine or a prophet huh? Pls don't open any church.

You just discredited someone's story because you felt there is no proof. And you in a haste concluded it was his imagination or dream.

But you want us to believe your dream allusions without logical proofs.

I have had worries where I wanted to die than face the matter concerned. Is that not grave enough?

Abeg.
I didn't discredit his story, I gave an explanation.

Did you read his posts? He himself claimed he dreamt, not me.

Ever had a bad dream?

Expantiate the dream part like he asked. With proof. Because I have worried about many things and I don't see them in dreams.
It's like you people want to be purposely obtuse.

People tend to dream about what bothers them including YOU.

I'm guessing what you dreamt about wasn't grave to come out in your dreams.

Ever had a bad dream? Bad dreams are based on peoples phobias.

He didn't state anywhere in his post that he had fears of his father passing away. Besides, he said that his sisters also had the same experience, how do you explain that?

By the way, what led to the conclusion that people tend to dream about the things that bother them? Kindly expatiate on that.
He doesn't need to. I read between the lines. His father was likely old and had some health issues causing him to be sick and others to worry about him and his mortality

This is why his sisters also had the same experience.

Whatever people worry about, comes out in their dreams.

I'm sure the father was not in the best of health before he died.

I remember when I lost my dad in the 90s , and we took him to Benin city(den of principalities then) And it was time for my mum to bath naked in a stream by 1am in the night. The elders (Odionwere) told me to keep my eyes shut and cover my ears, that its time for the spirits to roam. I was barely 10years old and I grew up in the north and a Christian home, so these events sounded strange to me, but what struck me to this very moment as an adult, was when the elders that were allowed to not close their eyes , started talking about what they saw( mind you they didn't know I could understand Bini wella) , they said they saw a woman with one leg, and her baby on her back hopping, also they saw my dad and he told them who was responsible for his illness that led to his death and other things a 10year old shouldn't have heard . My point is this world is more spiritual than even physical. For those that feel western corpse don't disturb, try and see this movie 'Autopsy of Jane doe' its a movie but it changed my mindset about oyinbo dead bodies.
Autopsy of Jane doe? Are you kidding me? Using fiction to prove reality ?

Mtchweeee all these useless stories... I lived in a hospital beside the mortuary for , 5 years during my uni days . We used to go in sometimes to receive chill air, the only problem was the stench of chloroform which got in our eyes. Some dead bodies do twitch ie little muscle movementss. This isn't spirit bla bla bla...infact chickens and goats do same when slain. The human brain may be dead but sometimes there's still little life in the muscles and some organs. I NEVER saw walking dead movie scenarios and zombies loooollll. Black men and stupidity shaa. .... Look at all these useless stories lol...do they also knock in the west? Ok oyibo dead bodies don't do all that loooooil...dumb ppl
Leave them lol

Ppl tend to see whatever lines up with their worldview.
These are the kind of threads superstitious Nigerians like.

you are very correct..but it might be possible sha. You know those morgue workers are spiritualist , and some are deep in occultic. It is not a faint heart job. So their experiences might be real.
Anybody's experience of the supernatural can be real, but can we believe them all?

That abroad own worst bro. So many ghosts being captured on the camera and it was real. Even at times some news outlets pick them up.

God is my witness, when my dad died I was twenty years old then. His ghost came to where I was sleeping in the boys quarters of our building a little far from main building. That was 90s. He tapped me and called me by my first name and said wo, moti lo oo..
.
Meaning I have gone ooo. Do this, that.. Giving me instructions in my sleep. That was around 1.15am, I just woke up. I hardly off light in my room but that day I off the light and I didn't know why.

Everything was so clear and audible. Immediately after that events, I woke up, after 5 mins while still thinking what kind of dream is this, my mum came to knock that my dad is not breathing again. Same thing happened to some of my brothers and sisters else where that night..

And that was it.There are spiritual forces that is beyond human understandin.
You were dreaming. Ppl tend to dream about what bothers them. You had fears of your father passing away hence why it crept up into your dreams.

Then your mum came to tell you he had passed.
