The singer Prince died of an opioid overdose, a US law enforcement official has told the Associated Press. The official, who is close to the investigation, said this was established by tests after the singer's death in April at his Minneapolis home. Detectives have already questioned a doctor who saw 57-year-old Prince twice in the weeks before he died. Prescription painkillers were in the singer's possession following his death, officials told US media in May. A police warrant has also revealed that Dr Michael Schulenberg prescribed medication to the singer on 20 April - the day before he died. The warrant does not say what was prescribed or whether Prince took the drugs. Local officials said after a post-mortem examination that there was no reason to believe that Prince's death was suicide. Prince was a prolific writer and performer from a young age - reportedly writing his first song when he was seven. A singer, songwriter, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, Prince recorded more than 30 albums. His best known hits include Let's Go Crazy and When Doves Cry.

Barrister Akpors who’s gone to the village for Xmas celebration went hunting in a nearby village. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer’s field on the other side of a fence. As Barrister Akpors climbed over the fence, an elderly gentleman asked him what he was doing. He responded, “I shot a duck and it fell in this field, I’m going in to retrieve it.” The old farmer replied, “This is my property, and you are not coming over here.” Arrogant Akpors said, “I am one of the best trial attorneys in this country, and, if you don’t let me get that duck, I’ll sue you and take everything!” The old farmer smiled and said, “Apparently, you don’t know how we do things here. We settle small disagreements like this with the Three-Kick Rule.” Barrister Akpors asked, “What is the three-Kick Rule?” The Farmer replied, “Well, first I kick you three times and then you kick me three times, and so on, back and forth, until someone gives up.” Barrister Akpors quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old farmer. He agreed to abide by the local custom. The old farmer slowly walked up to him. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy work boot into Akpor’s groin and dropped him to his knees. His second kick nearly wiped Akpors’ nose off his face. Barrister Akpors was flat on his belly when the farmer’s third kick to a kidney nearly caused him to give up. He eventually summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet and said, “Okay, you old farmer, now it’s my turn.” The farmer smiled and said, “Now, I give up. You can have the duck.” |
Black man Akpos and a white man were seated on plane. Akpos had a bunch of banana, while the white man had a monkey. Akpos wanted to go to the toilet, so he said to the white man “Please watch over my bananas, while I’m gone”. He went, came back and found out that the bananas were all gone. The white man pointed at the monkey and said, ”your brother the monkey ate all of them”. Akpos smiled and said nothing. Minutes later, the white man said, “Please hold my monkey while I pee”. He came back and met the monkey dead. He asked Akpos what happened and he replied, “This is a family matter, please stay out of it!” |

Kanu saw all these things but non of our yorubs or hausa brothers wanted to believe him |
The popular OAP has weighed in on the recent killing of Igbos by Fulani herdsmen..He says contrary to information making the rounds, Fulanis are not after Igbos and this should not be used as a propaganda by those wanting to split the country. He wrote I hereby offer my deepest condolence to my brothers and sisters, the Igbo people. The slaughter in Enugu was heinous to say the least, and to imagine that such an act could occur in 2016 is sickening. However, the Fulani herds men are not after the Igbo people, like some are trying to insinuate, by whipping up sentiment to incite and instigate people. They are against anyone who doesn't rear cows. They are a menace and should be stopped by all means necessary, including a 'shoot at sight' military order if the situation requires. Nonetheless, we should take into cognizance that not every Hausa or Fulani man is our enemy, and even they are at the mercy of these cattle herdsmen. The Fulani people are estimated at 40million according to Adeyiga Adebayo, whose detailed report on this menace can be found online .... In this report Adeyiga states "some local Governments in Benue State were savagely attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen who killed hundreds of people, torched houses, sacked some communities and occupied them. For instance in Ghajimba, headquarters of Guma L.G.A., no less than 25 farmers were massacred." When I brought up this argument on Facebook, a lady tackled me saying "we all know that there are more chistians in Benue". What about Katsina or Kaduna? Another portion of the Adeyiga write-up states: "Again, moments before President Goodluck Jonathan’s recent visit to Katsina State, the Fulani struck there killing over a hundred people. On Sunday March 16, 2014, marauders believed to be Fulani herdsmen attacked several communities under Maroa Chiefdom in Southern Kaduna killing over 200 persons mostly women and children, burning many houses, farms and food barns". The report by Adeyiga Adebayo sheds light on two potent issue, one being that the herdsmen are not against Igbo people as many are claiming and the other is that the menace is not new as Pres Goodluck Jonathan was 'clueless' when it came to this same matter, evidence of which can be found in the premium times in an article by Professor Iyorwuese Hagar. Let us keep it in perspective, that a Yoruba elder states man Chief OLU Falae was allegedly kidnapped by these same herdsmen. So the war is not against the igbos it's against Nigeria as a whole. This is the opportunity some people have been waiting for to divide Nigeria, and with sentimental manipulation through propaganda, they are slowly but surely getting there. However, if our search is for a solution instead of whom to blame, then we MUST stand together as a country to fight this menace! #GodWillMakeNigeriaGreatAgain ~FRZ. |

. . . . . . “Some former leaders died and went to hell. The British leader asks the devil to allow him make a phone call to London to know the welfare of his people. He spends five minutes. Satan bills him $5000.The United States leader makes his call for eight minutes and Satan bills him $8000. The Nigerian leader calls Abuja and spends two hours. He is briefed about the fuel trouble, Boko Haram, kidnapping, budget brouhaha and the anti- corruption war. “After his call, he asks Satan, ‘How much is my bill?’ Satan replies: ‘Your bill is $1.’ Surprised, the Nigerian leader says: ‘How come my own call is cheaper than the other two leaders’? I stayed longest on the phone.’ Satan, smiling, replies: “What’s the difference? Calling hell from hell is not expensive; it’s a local call.” |
