Bros please throw more light on this. won't the Aliens office request for a proof of financial means especially when you've already gone one semester and your funds have been depleted by virtue of that?

That won't be much of a problem. Get to Germany first and if/when you want to change school, it'll be a lot easier than you think.

Then prepare for both. (Written and oral interview). Infact, if your interview is going to be conducted by the chinko woman, you will first of all write test before proper oral interview.

Thank you very much for your reply, but just in case anyone has written this exam before,I will like them to share with me what the exam is like for example type of question etc . Just an extra help I mean. Meanwhile I will do my best to prepare for the D day..
Thanks

Hello, it's nice knowing you guys are for Ph.d group. I have been trying to get admission for ph.d studies but noticed that Ph.d are only advertised if am correct. I intend to work on environmental sustainability with focus on ethical sourcing of construction materials. Your advice will be appreciated.

Yea ....its normally advertised as a job (part time)...

I think what you need to do is search for research groups in ur field in Germany.

Check if there is open positions and apply.. if no open position you can contact the head of the research group and make enquires or better still send unsolicited application.

Most times they require one pdf file containing ur cv, certs, transcripts, motivation letter, list of publication if any, recommendation letter,...I will post the format later

All the best.

Feel free to ask any question...Takeastep na Oga for this phd matter

@Obiwann, the writeup might look pessimistic but I am not. Lol. There are scholarships in the US but people still pay tuition fees for PhD studies. I have Nigerian friends there and I must tell you that I have been on the search for PhD research studentships in waste management. I understand your point, there are many PhD scholarships in Germany for someone to have his own PhD started with self-funding. Know also that most of those PhDs are advertised PhDs. The truth is that my area of specialisation, waste management rarely have phd positions advertised. And not many universities have courses in waste management. As I said before, it took me 3 years to see a supervisor interested in my topic. Do I blow that chance because of funding? I really don't want to go for another MSc. I think the money I will use to fund the MSc should be used to start the PhD and with the help of God and all of you in here,I will be able to get a scholarship or research assistant position while doing the PhD research. This is my thought, anyway. What do you think? Please, let me know if you find any university around your city that offer courses in waste management.

ok boss..kein problem...
i'd let u knw if i find

The owner of this test is going for Mechatronics Engineering. Your test will depend on the course you are going for. I was privileged to get a test transcripts of a guy going for Medicine, all his questions are majorly Biology and few chemistry; nothing like maths or Physics at all. If I can still locate the sheet, I will post it here. The test questions above may not be totally applicable to you depending on your course but it can serve as a pointer to the likely questions that may come out. Just find out the two subjects that are closely related to your course and read up on them. In addition to that maths questions, read up on factorisation, like "4a-(8a+1)=", then know the diagram of these angles: 45, 90, 180 and most importantly BODMAS provided your course fall within Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering and other maths and physics related courses. Best of luck. Shalom

Also the examples u listed, how is it different from the ones I listed.

Good, what is the price per month, I need something like that.
I got this flat from arrangement made by my Darling. A friend of his in Bremen has been helping us in searching. However we have been told that getting a house in Bremen is very difficult.
I had even made a booking for an hotel since I would be traveling in a few days time. But luckily I got a place, spoke to my flatmate who happens to be a Nigerian too and I would be moving in straight from the airport.
I got it for 270€ per month all bills inclusive. Talk about being damn lucky.
