It's not really only responsible guys that keep such relationship, the truth is that if you actually fell in love with someone you've never met, before you finally meet, you would have built that feeling to an unimaginable level without any reservations.
Once you finally meet that person and the person meets your expectations to a desirable degree, that level of feeling you've developed for that person would be maintained and sustained. Sometimes it's surreal.

You can't love someone you have not met. Not possible! Anyone who says they have is just in denial. You have to understand love to say that. Now you can like someone out of curiosity of what they would be like in person. That's about it!!

Parent doing match making is not real love to me....it's sounds like enforcement or keeping tradition alive. The only reason why these type of marriages lasted for so long is sometimes tolerance because the couple fears offending the parents or family in question.

Agreed! We are all the same regardless of location. You do have to understand one thing though. The people you meet online can be a fabrication of their reality and the people you meet in person are more likely to have their character on display.

Well, I believe love is based on perception. What you believe the person is and not necessarily what the person is. I don't think it really matters whether it's online or real life...

The only thing is that it's easier for the love to die quicker if it continues online without efforts to consolidate it in real life.

Very true! Now that's more like it. I agree with that. When you find out you hav been in love with a phony. It causes heartbreak! true love is very hard to find like the missing girls in sambisa forest
