Interesting take, though some will argue agberos are more of a burden than success. But what do you do when jobless people keep trooping to Lagos without control expecially from non performing states.

It is your wrong assertion that Lagos State is the most performing state. I can but ask, where is the performance ? Show me. LASU schools inflation is performance ? Building a few Kilometers of road and tolling is performance ? Is it the Advertisement Boards at every round about which actually is Taxed to the chinese ? Where do you live in Lagos ? Pray tell me, is it the flowers planted ? Is it the sweeping of the road you call performance ?

Do yourself a favor, travel to other states. I used to think Lagos is the best thing after green beans, but I was awed when I traveled to other states. I was deceiving myself, so are you.

- where IGR increased over 34 times from N7.2 billion in 1999 to N246 billion in 2013.

However,

- the number of schools, classrooms, libraries, laboratories, teachers, school administrators etc did not increase much.
- the number of health clinics and general hospitals, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, physiotherapists, hospital administrators etc did not increase much.
- basic TAP water coverage of the households and businesses in the entire state did not increase much.
- the number of kilometres of FEEDER roads repaired, expanded did not increase much.

Instead

- we have LASU fees hiked from N25,000 to N250,000.
- Lekki road, built with public funds tolled without any significant improvement of the road itself.


One must be crazy to praise, adore, worship, exalt these band of rogues masquerading as agents demons of change.

You ask earlier if i stayed in Lagos, please what was the conditions of roads in VI, Ikoyi, Ikeje and surulere in 1999?

The Adeola Odekus, ozumba, awolowo and practical all the roads in VI, Surulere and ikeja were death traps, they are thousands of kilometres of road wearing world class looks today, you can't tell me Lagos ain't working. Truth is there places suffering on the outskirts of the state. Gradually i believe they will cover those areas.

Today i can dial 3 digits number anywhere in the state and have emergency services show up in less than 15mins.

Lagos can do more but please don't say they haven't done anything.

Travel to other states like where? The developed area in uyo is not even as big as ikeja now compare the number of roads there to the areas i mentioned above
