Poster, this is pure greed by your in laws to be. Is your lady supportive of her people demanding N500,000 as bride price only ? There are a lot of expenses involved in marriage and bride price should not command such a huge pie. If you said that you budgeted N500k for your TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE, that will be more understandable. I know many people will just comment without understanding what is involved. Like this one.
