Trust OAU students they wont think like that, besides many students do not have the guts to convey the snake to the zoological department.
Their is a bush around the place were the snake was found and that is what most likely led to the appearance of the snake and since they rehearse numerous times in that arena, they were trying to be safe than sorry.
