Just like I said on a thread earlier today, we apportion blames based on sentiments and emotions instead of common sense and pragmatism. Instead of calling out the greedy banks and their CBN collaborators, most of you are shouting Buhari. What has Buhari got to do with this?

What has the Daura President has to do with it u say? Who insisted on the naira not being devalued? The CBN falls within the president's purview hence why the cbn governor is appointed by the president. Anything that happens in cbn is run by the president before it goes out so dnt as that provoking question!

Now mr buhari at the moment isn't borrowing and crude oil prices are below $40. His decision not to devalue the Naira as a negative (short term) impact on the economy even after IMF's advise to devalue the Naira.

I support this move by the president because if he devalues the Naira in a country that produces nothing or export less commodities. Inflation will rise and our currency value will fall creating more hardship (Zimbabwe). Let's think of the long term effect.

One problem Mr president has is he wants to accomplish everything at the same time. He needs to take issues one after the other along side the economy.

With all the savings I am sure the government is financially stable at the moment.

Since 1970 to 1999 nigeria have being a failed state in the hands of greedy men who misplaced the priority of the nation. A relatively genuine fight to install a good leadership began from 2007, impacts can be felt today. Freedom of speech, easier assess to information and lots more are example of it. What this present gov should do is continue from where these men stopped while correcting some wrongs without noise.

OP I don't think you understand governance. The Ministers of Foreign Affairs as well and that of Finance are fully involved in negotiating all the bilateral agreements that the President has signed.
