seunmsg: What will Buhari benefit from ATM card charges?
Is the charges going into the coffers of government or the banks?
Just like I said on a thread earlier today, we apportion blames based on sentiments and emotions instead of common sense and pragmatism. Instead of calling out the greedy banks and their CBN collaborators, most of you are shouting Buhari. What has Buhari got to do with this? What has the Daura President has to do with it u say? Who insisted on the naira not being devalued? The CBN falls within the president's purview hence why the cbn governor is appointed by the president. Anything that happens in cbn is run by the president before it goes out so dnt as that provoking question! |

How can you equate oil that is taken for free from the south and used to fund the northern states to buying food items? You reason ed very poorly cos it isnt about whether they pay for fuel. Inspectahdeck: They kept borrowing money. Also the crude oil prices was way above $50.
Now mr buhari at the moment isn't borrowing and crude oil prices are below $40. His decision not to devalue the Naira as a negative (short term) impact on the economy even after IMF's advise to devalue the Naira.
I support this move by the president because if he devalues the Naira in a country that produces nothing or export less commodities. Inflation will rise and our currency value will fall creating more hardship (Zimbabwe). Let's think of the long term effect.
One problem Mr president has is he wants to accomplish everything at the same time. He needs to take issues one after the other along side the economy.
With all the savings I am sure the government is financially stable at the moment. My friend do you know what inflation means? We already experiencing serious inflation and you type this crap! Listen, the naira is already devalued whether the govt believes or not. What buhari is currently doing is seriously hurting the economy but of course the man didn't even pass his waec so what can we say... |

Scholes007: Since 1970 to 1999 nigeria have being a failed state in the hands of greedy men who misplaced the priority of the nation. They created the foundation of the problems today. 1999-2007 was the period of legalization of this menace. 2007-2015 was a time were fresh hands and young men were trying through policies and other factors to turn the fortune of the nation around for good. 2015-till date should be a time to continue this fight of liberation but hell no it cannot be found, we are not yet done with chasing shadows. The first coup was done in fight of corruption, instead of building strong institutions, power drunk fool kept fight over power living only in shadows. 1999 when things should have turned around, our leaders (especially the first citizen) created this culture of chop make i chop nothing dey happen . A relatively genuine fight to install a good leadership began from 2007, impacts can be felt today. Freedom of speech, easier assess to information and lots more are example of it. What this present gov should do is continue from where these men stopped while correcting some wrongs without noise. Nice one. Hard to impress me but I'm thoroughly impressed. |

Show a verified source for your travel expenditure claims. Besides, that has nothing to do with this case. Buhari's travels are documented and budgeted for as part of his job. No comparison.
So far, you're doing great a poor job at defending corruption So funds are withdrawn from CBN with word of mouth? Isn't it obvious dasuki and his cohorts were criminals of the highest order? GEJ may be indirectly guilty of supervisory oversight but surely buhari has displayed much worse in that aspect so far so spare me the BS. |

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs as well and that of Finance are fully involved in negotiating all the bilateral agreements that the President has signed. Don't think that the President hops into the plane and gets few minutes to negotiate such agreements. Ministers are for policy direction; it's not about noise. Buhari's image at the International fora is at its peak. The abuse from local online media is because it's the first time an incumbent lost an election and supporters of the past administration are still finding the pill bitter to swallow Buhari's image at its peak internationally? Tell me ur joking pls! With all the different saga that have happened recently, I dnt even want to start listing them, or the blunders and denials and reversals and change of promises and stolen budget and rising inflation, u say this crap? Negotiating and bilateral terms that they don't even read and fully tackle or grasp the contents of those agreements? Mortgaging our future, cos no country helps any other for nothing, recently USA withdraw its health grant to Nigeria, something in the region of 50bn naira. Bro, all the earlier giddiness has dissipated and it has become clear that Buhari is a rather clumsy and incompetent ruler with dictatorial tendencies and also that APC had no plan, no map nor blueprint to lift Nigeria out of the mess it currently is. In one sentence, no ideology in the party, it's just the same old ppl under a different umbrella, or shud I say broom. I am not pro PDP, I am anti party. I believe actual GDP contracted under Jonathan in real terms because the power was non existent, refineries were not working and we were importing everything including rice and palm oil. Anybody who believed that a well built economy will collapse in six months because one man was booted out of power is a poor product of Nigeria's faulty educational system. They went further to demand compensation of N2billion for d farms DT have ban affected by d herdsmen.
