Ugomba: They are part of the south south. They will be very happy and very glad to go with south south. when the time comes you will see. There are many yoruba in benin republic and togo. they are not in Nigeria. There are many hausa in Niger, chad etc. They are not in Nigeria. The state of Texas in the US are latino from mexico. That does not make mexicans Americans. Boundary region of two countries always have people of similar culture. God has already solved the problem with River Niger. that is a natural demarcation and border. You have to accept that. Anioma is not part of Biafra. They are part of "Niger Delta Republic" I know IMO and Abia are Niger delta just the way Ondo is also Niger delta. Imo and Abia can join Biafra. Ondo can Join Oduduwa republic |

Ugomba: I do not hate Igbo people. Many of my friends are Igbo. I only hate thier deceit and greed. what is good for the goose is good for the gander. What we dont want is a dominant tribe simple. If south south join Biafra, that country will be 60% Igbo. How do you think other minorities can compete in that kind of country? Whether we like it or not we both know that Igbo are not diplomatic people by nature. That will lead to complete extinction of other tribe. in less than 50years they will make the whole Biafra Ibo without any consideration. I dont hate Igbo. But i hate when i know the Biafra they seek is a Biafra with current south south as an appendage to it. Why cant they support our freedom, and we will support thier freedom. Why do igbo make it look like it is wrong for Niger Delta people to seek thier own freedom outside Biafra? In biafra current south south minority will be like conquered people. God forbid that to happen. 1 Like |

Ugomba: we are not discussing Igbo as individual here. But as group and movement. I dont have personal beef with an individual Igbo person, but I have beef with Biafra as movement which want south south Minorities as an appendage. I will support Biafra without south south in the Map. |

Mogidi: Political alliances and electoral choices are built around temporal friendships, individual candidates and the expedient interests and actions of the ruling class on short term basis. It is as fluid as the outcome of periodic, free & fair election. There is a huge lag between the above and ethnic agitation, which is primed by the quest for self determination, and built solely on ethno-cultural nationalism, ties, identity and the eternal quest for survival. Elections have come and gone, with accounts of massive irregularities in one state and the other. Think outside the box, and stop staking your future and identity to its outcome. We have seen lots of politicians who betray their ethnic groups during elections. You know too well that we have nothing in common with the SE (apart from Christianity which is even distributed worldwide). 4 Likes |

Mogidi:The Biafra of your dream will be made a mono-ethnic and monocultural igbo empire with all your identity and history wiped out to the extent that it will be a flattery and privilege for extinct minority groups like yours to be accorded a second class citizenship status. You will sought for it and never find it. Biafra is a scam project for ibo land and resource domination. And when it happens, there will be no other major ethnicity to balance their power. 5 Likes |

EdCure: South South geo-political zone has many ethnic groups and they have different views. Despite your trying in vain to avoid the very obvious you should at least be bold enough to state your ethnic nationality so as to help some of your folks not to be on the fence! There is nothing like Niger-delta tribe! This is a free world in which you are entitled to freedom of association. You are free to merge yourselves with Yoruba, Bini, Esan, Itsekiri and any other interested ethnic group. Stop feeling any important and leave Igbos out of your misery! Igbos are not interested in non-Igbos of SS. Igbos have not forgotten the abandoned properties and at such do not trust them fully. There's oil in Anambra, Abia, Enugu and Imo. The whole of Enugu and Anambra States are sitting on Gas deposits; Coal at Enugu, Lime stone for cement in Abakaliki; rice in Ebonyi State; West Africa's largest market at Onitsha, Anambra; big markets at Aba, Abia state and Nnewi, Anambra...I could go on and on. Even without reliance on crude oil the Igbos have excelled and are more than ever before capable of doing more exploits and competing with the World powers! Libya without river created an artificial ocean and it's functioning very well. Switzerland and Austria are landlocked. Israel turned desert to fertile ground. With technology Igbos can change their world. “The right to development is a fundamental right by virtue of which every human person and all peoples are entitled to participate in, contribute to and enjoy economic, social and cultural development. “It is a right which includes the exercise of full sovereignty over national resources, self determination, popular participation in development and equality of opportunity." 1 Like |

[quote author=xtrorse] South South geo-political zone has many ethnic groups and they have different views.[/qoute] That is the point you biafrauds fail to recognise. But rather, you would like to force your homogeneous biafra down our throat with the sole intent of ibo domination. Despite your trying in vain to avoid the very obvious you should at least be bold enough to state your ethnic nationality so as to help some of your folks not to be on the fence! There is nothing like Niger-delta tribe! Why ask for my tribe after taking note of the existence of diverse ethnic group in the SS, and there is no Niger-Delta tribe? Do you always have to delve into ethnic sentiments to validate your argument? You are wandering too much in self-contradiction! Just to educate you further, we in the SS all have common interest: we are minority nationalities working together to defend our land, resources and heritage from the greedy ibos and their co-dominant majorities. Igbos have not forgotten the abandoned properties and at such do not trust them fully.Who is attaching themselves to Biafra with reference to false and imaginary affinity and ties? I guess it is the Gambaris and the Yorubas. Even without reliance on crude oil the Igbos have excelled and are more than ever before capable of doing more exploits and competing with the World powers!Good for the ibos and your biafra. Build on what you have and stop claiming what is not yours. But note that nations are built not solely on speculations and mindless chest beatings. And again, refer the above rants to the OP...cos it is irrelevant to the comment that I posted. I'm not too disposed to people who lose focus and miss their target. “The right to development is a fundamental right by virtue of which every human person and all peoples are entitled to participate in, contribute to and enjoy economic, social and cultural development.Next time when you quote a statement like you did above, include the author for credit and reference purpose.
