I don't quite agree. Joromi might have won an award but that didn't make him 'popular' as a musician. OrlandoOwoh: |

bigv:www.google.com Uwaifo is a pace setter. He is the first Nigerian musician to get a national honour, 20 years before any musician. His record in St. Gregory College, Lagos in long jump has not been broken since the early 1960's. He read sculture, not mechanical engineering, but built a car which he drove from Benin to Abuja to take an award. He plays six different types of guitar. He invented the double neck guitar with over ten strings. He invented the revolver guitar and the A-K 47 guitar. He plays guitar with his toes and tongu. He is originator of akwete music, using different colours in the akwete cloth to represent different different musical note. 6 Likes |

TaoBalinga: Jinns are creations but look different from human. Their abnormal features distinguish them from humans. Jinns are what we call bad spirits however there exist good and bad spirits. They are capable of possessing humans through several medium. They are different from devil. The devil is Satan, it is the one that misleads men not jinns. |

Onliie:There we go! The length you will go to defend ''ridiculous myths'' when boxed to a corner. From confidently saying many cultures believe in a story to stylishly saying only western cultures! In Patience Jonathan's voice : ''Continu'' . Meanwhile, isn't it quite obvious Uwaifo just wanted to link a story, a sweet one that readily appeals to the mass of gullible superstitious Nigerians, to his hitsong. Many artists do it and have been doing it since time immemorial, it's not a crime anyway. How many times have we heard of artists with Davido's wealthy background claiming ''street'' or those that claim to have been singing from a year old(One year olds can barely talk human language sef) or a Correction officer like Rick Ross claiming druglord/gangster! It's just a human psychology trick to keep your fans! 1 Like |

kevoh:You were comparing Santa Claus story with mermaid legend. Santa Claus is not real, it was just a story told to children in Europe. Mermaids is in all cultures all over the world. My question is, how come all cultures have stories about mermaids, unless there is an element of truth in it? Are you saying all these cultures just made up these stories, not even one of them is right. Note, these are diverse cultures with nothing connecting them to each other. China has texts about mermaids long before people migrated to china from the western world. even the isolated Native Americans have stories about mermaids before Columbus migrated to America. HOW? They must have seen something to justify these stories. Same kind of description of these creature. Think deep, my brother. 3 Likes |

Mammywater Ko na pappyfire. I have known human beings to make silly claim which there's no substantial evidence to back it and funny a lot of people believe such claims. |

Bibidear: First of all they don't speak our language so I don't understand the kind of marmaid mr Victor saw o, then two they are very shy and scared of humans so they try to avoid us, though some times they mistakenly get caught in fishermen net during fishing. They make a sound that is farrrrrrrrrr different from other fishes of the sea there fingers are not really like ours but it's webbed that's all there fingers are connected. They often move with whales so where you see lots of whales you might see a marmaid. Female marmaids have boobs while the males don't |

Onliie:That there are so many stories about Dragons breathing fire across many ''unconnected''cultures and in written texts found in scrolls unearthed by archeologists does not mean Dragons have existed. Not one empirical proof! Your mermaid falls in the same category. Sir, there's nothing to think deep about here. It's a pure waste of time. |

cbrass:My brother, I'm just too enlightened to judge them since it was probably in no way their own direct fault. But of course I'm always at full alert whenever I am around them. Been a while I've been with either of them anyways. Tanx for the lookout hehehe. |

Onliie: You have a point and they are real, have even seen one but they make a funny terrifying sound, they don't speak our language so it could be that what Mr Victor saw couldn't have been a marmaid |

gbosaa: You really have no idea about the spiritual. ..the so called Super powers of the World are into Spiritual things BIG TIME ( How do cults like Freemason, illuminati operate?). Most of our deities in Africa are overseas ; carted away by the West. 75% of what goes on around us is Spiritual...even the good book says it (we battle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities.....). When people hear Voodoo, black magic etc...they think it pertains to Nigeria or Africa alone. |

kevoh:What if dragons were dinosaurs that breathe fire and are extinct? Dont say that's not possible, cause we have an insect that produce light from his abdomen, fish that produces thousands of volts, enough to kill. Check youtube about dragons, there is a debate in the archaeology community on the existence of dragons and this same argument i used was raised. nobody among them was able to counter it. thats why i laugh at your futile attempt at answering my question? 1 Like |
