Other religions sanctioned by Allah before the coming Prophet Muhammad (SAW) have their various ways and manners of doing their sacrifices. Quran says:

"And for all religion We have appointed a rite [of sacrifice] that they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. For your god is one God, so to Him submit. And, [O Muhammad], give good tidings to the humble [before their Lord]." Holy Qur'an: Al-Hajj (22:34)

In the same Surah Allah told us that He needs NOT the meat or blood othe animals but He only wants our 'taqwa', Faith, piety and asked us to eat from the sacrifice and feed the needy and beggers. Read if you can:

"And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.
Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good."
Holy Qur'an: Al-Hajj (22:36-37)

-So what's the noise about?

-Don't you think its wasteful for the meat to be allowed to decompose or be burnt by fire while there are alot of people in hunger and in need of food?

- Now, which is normal, making use of the meat or allowing it to be wasted?

Do you believe the muslims offer their sacrifices to an idol in the first place?

If yes, it means you are deliberately disobeying God's word as I have earlier shown you.

The meat you buy is not offered as a sacrifice, it is for sale and the motive and intention are different.

If ur intention is to preach d gospel to d Muslims, y didn't u just start by pointing out their wrongs n correcting them. Y ask d stupid question dat made u open dis topic like u didn't already know d answer.

Instead of ppl giving their hears n heart to hear d word of God from u, dey simply perceive u as self righteous. U shud really ask for God's grace, u don't preach d Gospel wt sentiment.

I work in a bank, hv lots of Muslims customers who brought Salah ram for me, I accepted it but then gave it to ppl who needs it.

Point is, it's their religion, it's what dey believe in.
If u want to change dat belief, u must take sentiment out of it.
Your job is to tell them d truth, but u can't force them to accept the truth. And d fact dey don't accept d truth does not mean dey are ur enemies.

It's God's decision to change any man.

There is this story of Allah commanding Abraham to sacrifice his son to him. Abraham is said to obey but before he did the slaughtering, allahh provided a ram to be killed instead of the son.

After killing the ram, did Abraham and his family eat it as muslims do today?

Why should muslims eat what is sacrificed to their god?
