Eachtime this man steps out of Nigeria, he ends up with blunders that are so unthinkable, sadly he gets applauded by does that have come to accept blunders as Nobel.
buhari problem dates back to the 80s and we were warning Nigerians about all this but majority of Nigerians took our warnings in bad faith. Now buhari and Nigeria are Been exposed internationally to the global audience . This problem will persist till 2019,sadly though

PMB probably didn't take the required number of delegates due to his micro management approach. We won't know d inner workings but that won't be surprising. I voted PMB but so far his interest in showing us he fights corruption and has a frugal stance is not cutting it for economic growth. No clear policies on anything. Is he running a small scale farm?
Same question I've been asking.
Pity,Nigerians themselves seem the main problem we have.Forming voltrons for every govt mistake/misstep,rather than rightly advising, questioning, critiquing and guiding.

The NSA is among the president's delegation, why didn't he attend this meeting?.Clearly, this is supposed to be up his alley.

When we said this trip was a jamboree, some people did not let us rest.we have now been vindicated by this report from premium times.they were so busy laying emphasis on the lean delegation the president was taking to the u.n, they forgot the reason why they came there in the first place.this is a delegation that has a large number of security advisers but yet a meeting about boko haram is not important enough for them to attend? How else can we describe clueless? Mediocrity? U went to u.n no trade delegation followed u to see how we could sign some bilateral agreement which would create employment, trade and business oppurtunity? What will they say they have achieved now? The next 4years would be a waste, smh

Buhari should henceforth sit his sorry butt back home in Nigeria and allow his VP to represent Nigeria in all global meetings were people of high cerebral capacity converge to deliberate on Germaine global issues.

You can't cry more than the bereaved, the president will even do everything in his power to see the problems of NE are fully resolved, so whether he attend or not, his number one priority is still the NE. Just that Nigerians are hard to please, if he had attended, another story will surface. Meanwhile, Presidency don't just attend meetings, they're pre planned and if such escapes the president notice, Ogwu whose job would have being to draw the attention of the COS to it failed in her job, maybe she's benefiting from the crisis, who knows? No one said he's perfect, moreover, he wasn't idle elsewhere when the meeting was on. The president should come give the dividends of democracy to all, that's all Nigerians care about. He could even win more people's hearts if he could increase the minimum wage from the peanut it's now to suit civil servants.

Another apc robot on the loose... At least it isnt GEJ you blamed this time around grin grin

Now our attache to the UN is benefiting from the crises.. grin grin That's a new one

I don't blame you. Most Nigeerians are veery gullible grin grin

The below should help.

The meeting at which Nigeria was reportedly absent was not one the official events of the United Nations for which President Muhammadu Buhari and his modest delegation are in New York.

While the meeting referred to in media reports is commendable, it was not the only one or the most important of such meetings in New York that are paying attention to the problem of insecurity, migration and violent extremism in the Lake Chad area and the rest of the world

Aside top UN and EU officials, as well as heads of international nongovernmental organisations who participated, the meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister of Niger, Brigi Rafini and Chad’s Foreign Minister, Moussa Faki Mahamat.

A brochure of the meeting listed “High level representation from the government of Nigeria” among the panelists expected to speak at the meeting.

Can't you notice the nations attending the meeting, how can UN meeting be only attended by Niger and Chad, and u call it an official UN meeting? And Nigeria is expected to speak not scheduled to speak this finally confirmed it as unofficial.

Margaret Bassher of the UN was interviewed by Garba Umar of ChannelsTV newstrack today. She confirmed that the meeting was official and that the President was scheduled to be at the meeting. She was bemused at the fact that the President CANCELLED his appearance at the meeting shortly before it commenced.

But you are just a stupid child i shouldn't have answered you... But still, lets leave it at that

This is exactly buhari problem.he wont and can't delegate serious duties to messenger boy osinbajo because he doesn't trust him. Buhari simply doesn't know who to trust .you will see the various squabbles that will ensue once ministers are appointed . Buhari doesn't feel confident when among a large group of intelligent technocrats hence he prefers to have a very small number of trusted aides to work with

When GEJ was carrying a large entourage to the UN to attend all seminars and Conferences that concerns Nigerians, APC Fans were busy mocking him and calling him wasteful and clueless but at the end the UN happily worked with Nigeria because we were a responsible member of the international community. Now due to APC propaganda, they praised Buhari for cutting down on the waste of sending a large delegate to the UN. They derided Jonathan and worshiped Buhari as our saviour for pruning down the number of people going to UN for conferences but now the chicken has come home to roost.

Due to Nigeria's small amount of UN delegates, they could not attend all the meetings planned for them and they had to prioritize until they missed the most important one that was peculiar to Nigeria and Internally displaced people. Its not everyday that the UN releases a statement that its Disappointed in a country especially since it spent its resources to organize a conference to benefit a country that has been crying out for help to deal with the Boko Haram menace.

Do you think the UN would worry about Nigeria next time it cry's out for help or bother itself to organize a conference to benefit Nigeria when it knows it won't attend? What is even more worrisome is APC's pride not accepting it has goofed and apologizing to everybody for this embarrassing International gaff but as usual APC uses Propaganda to solve its problems to deny and twist the story to favour them which has bounced back on its face. If it was the Jonathan Government that did this, APC fans would have called him clueless. What should PDP fans call this International embarrassment by PMB?

P:S Why is it anytime PMB travels abroad, his gaff or Omissions take centre stage instead of the substantive reason he traveled out? Either he is pissing off the Germans by calling them West Germans with President Mitchell or going to the US to mock the SS/SE and calling them the 5% or going to France to abuse his future ministers as "Noise Makers" and now embarrassing Nigeria by not attending a UN summit personally organized to benefit us and this is just 4 months into Buhari's Presidency. God save Nigeria Internationally in the next 3 and a half years. No matter what you say about PDP, it has always achieved an excellent result when it comes to Foreign Policy from Obj down to Gej and its best advised for APC/PMB to take lessons from PDP on how to comport its self internationally.

bros u just said my mind. Two bottles of heineken for u.

How can a meeting convened in the UN by diplomats be considered unofficial?

That aside, I expect the Nigerian govt to give credibility and weight to any diplomatic "unofficial" meeting regarding the plight of IDPs serious attention.

This just goes to show that Buhari and his 21 man entourage just went on a tourist instagram photo spree

This Govt is totally out of touch with reality on how to run a nation in the 21st century!
