Clearly, a woman, a highly intelligent women-activist no less, was part of the delegation that pushed for self-government.
Whether she was sitting in parliament the day the constitution was revised is something I can't say for sure.
However, that a woman was even involved in all this is something worth mentioning...deliberate discrimination would be almost if not impossible.
