Many of thhese deportees have been said not to be illegal immigrants, some committed some offences and then deported after some months of arrest back to Nigeria. While it is shame, we need to be honest and admit being in the UK for however long does not make you a legal immigrant. Let's call a spade a spade and stop putting emotions into it. They are the responsibility of the Nigerian government not the UK government.

Also this does not only apply to Nigerians but all illegal immigrants including non EU European countries so all the posts about UK hating Nigeria is ridiculous.

This falls on the Nigerian government for accepting them. It is unlawful to deport folks like that on a chartered flight.

A lot of the folks they have been sending back to Nigeria since the Tories came to power have been in the UK since they were kids, and they also have kids. All they know is the UK and they are not illegal immigrants. A lot of them just committed serious crimes and once you have been to prison for more than 18months now, if you are not born in the UK - the home office will cancel ya legal status.

A few people I grew up with have also been sent back cos of jail and they were never illegal immigrants. Nigeria is to blame. How these folks will assimilate into a country they haven't been to since they were between age 1-7 is still a mystery to me.

When did boeing 737 become an aircraft that could carry up to 500 passengers?

The only aircrafts that could carry that much at once is either the boeing 747 which could carry just about 400 persons and the airbus A380 of which we do not have the airport to accommodate such huge aircrafts for landing and take off in Nigeria yet.

What type of dialogue were you trying to have when you quoted me and started "correcting" what you're ignorant about?

In my post, I made reference of "age 1-7" and I said they were never illegal immigrants. If you understand the UK laws, you would know that minors aren't considered to be illegal immigrants and once they get to age 16, they'll get N.I cards posted to them. And after that, when they're old enough, they can always apply to the home office to get whatever they need.

Also, I was alluding to people in their mid-late 20s who spent all their lives in the UK and they had passports and were traveling everywhere before they got entangled in the madness that messed them up. My post is self-explanatory to anyone who lives in the UK. You don't live here and I doubt you have ever been to the UK. So why jump into the discourse and try to correct what you know nothing about?
