shocked, I NEED glasses,so I go begin see well. Planks are hard,I don't know if it can be attributed to my weak core or a fear of "breaking my spinal cord" cheesy but I have never been able to hold the position for more than 60-70 seconds ,so when I "thought" I saw 5mins in your Log I wanted to ask if Lance amstrong had given you something. grin

Yes they are and as for me any other abs exercise. I just don't like them, don't know why.

^^^^^^yep...lost 35 pounds of extra baby weight.....still have 10 yo go and that one does not want to bulge at all......

Good morning guys. hope we are enjoying out saturday.....
Exercise for yesterday, 1 hr walk, it was so great, i was swinging my hands up and down to the sides too, just increase the heart rate and burn more calories, it was great....had fun doing it.

I do 2 mins at a go. Never done 5 mins once. Possible if that is the target though.

Wishing all a happy new and healthy week ahead.

Let us all wake up and do something for ourselves this week, its good for us and it will def keep our hearts up.

For me I hope this week will be different in the sense of more days of working out and greater discipline in eating, still stagnated at 77kg right now and I will try to break that this week, all things being equal. I have a trip to make during the week, hoping that will not affect my schedule in any way. I am going to bed now, sleep tight all. Love you and this thread too, Barbie take care of yourself.

brkft:egusi soup with swallow nd ponmo plus meat..lol i av a longday ahaed buh i took it bout 11am though

yersterday
few mins of stretching n some yoga i tink, 25mins walk
no brkfast
lunc:buckwheat nd meat
dinner:bread,egg nd tea(cocolate drink nomilk or sugar)

saturday
some yoga
b:fried chips nd egggs
l:same
dinner:buckwheat
late snack:bread nd sprite
yh my food timetable looks upside dwn buh atleast im nt addin calories. bin sipping sprite 2 cos i av a bottle. buhjus little

Taitee....laughing at your egusi and swallow for breakfast...wow!!! wish i could eat like that....grin grin

These days, i eat very light breakfast about 150 - 200 calories, my lunch is usually a bit heavy about 500-900 calories, then i rarely eat dinner because i am still full from the lunch i have eaten, so i just drink a cup of tea or a bowl of cream of wheat (200 calories) or a cup of water.....been doing that for 1week and half now....

Logs for yesterday (sunday) 3 hours in the museum, after church, the women organized an outing for kids under 8 years...it was fun though but tiring, wanted my son to be part of it too, i was walking around for 3 hours calling kids and looking for some, phew!!!!! i am not looking forward to another outing with a bunch of kids....wink wink

This morning, 30 minutes cardio kickboxing with Violet Zaki and a good 3 minutes yoga-cool down, that was so great....breakfast, is just half a bagel and butter with a cup of tea.

Lol...you are funny, everything you ate, depending on the quantity will be around 1800-2000 calories.....that is not bad because it is part of the required quantiti, i said aboput 2000 because, lets do the breakdown
Egusi soup....with meat and oil used with salt and maggi...will be around 400-600 calories
the morsel ...lets say 200 calories

Fried rice and chicken --that i will say, another 700 calories..
ground nut, 6 pieces is about 70 calories, so assuming you have 42 pieces, so that will be 490 calories on in it's own
gari...lets say 150....
the water melon should be around 70 calories....And this is just an estimation, not the accurate calorie count.

So when you exercise you can burn between 350 - 500 calories depending on the workout chosen.

I ave not worked out for 4 days now or more, just not motivated to. But this morning read a mail and am up.

exercise logs

5 mins warm up (jumping jacks)
1 mins jump rope
2 mins single arm squat and swing (4kg dbl)
1 mins jump rope
1 mins crawl pushups
1 mins jump rope
2 mins front and reverse lunges (5lbs dbs)

It was a circuit with no rest, I was breathless I could not proceed to the next circuit. If time and strength permits I would repeat tonight. Ish, just not in it. Take care and keep on keeping on

*I wonder if this has anything to do with the scale that did not move*.

lol @ronke dnt mind me oh. i went to visit a friend who jus gt back and she served me rice n chiken, dat shld av bin all oh but d garri was jus tooo tempting! its bin long. lol. im bin lazy dis period self. lemme see hw i can balance today though. lol

My sis from another mother,my news letters does the same to me too;(8/10) at the minimum guilt sets in and I tweak my meal by replacing a meal with either fruit or veggies

@ Taitee, i indulge alot too, infact i eat cakes and all what not...but i reduce it to the smallest quantity and at the back of my mind, i am always counting the calories, i count everything i eat and drink, i look at the labels, my friends call me crazy....but i love it.

Logs for today
30 minutes cardio kikboxing with Violet Zaki...just repeated the same workout from yesterday....and added 200 jump ropes, with a 3 minutes yoga stretch for the cool-down...loved it.
breakfast...had toasted croissant and butter with a cup of coffee(500 calories), not sure what my lunch would be yet....but i am sure no dinner for me or a cup of non-fat yoghurt (140 calories) will do it.

@ HG, my dear, it happens ooo, sometimes the morale is just too low to do any exercise, but i think that is the way the body tells us that it needs to rest too.

@ronke tanks. we all need a bit of rest. we ve bin at this for months..nyway pple said ve lost weight n i ve gone down by about 2 dress sizes or so. nt really exercising buh im counting calories. cant add up d weight i spent months trying to lose... im loving yoga nw. it takes muc less energy dan taebo buh i guess it works for losing weight 2. plus it helps me stretc n increase flexibilty. tanks for introducing me oh.

1:00pm - 4 fist sized tuwo shinkafa + 1 cup beans soup + 1 piece beef and ponmon

3:00pm - 1 glass yogurt

7:30pm - 1 cup jollof rice + 1 chicken wings + 2 slice plantain

Good morning guys.....Taitai...you crack me up grin gringrin, i have been indulging too, eating fries and drinking wine....(don't know how many calories in that wine though)...at least you exercise, i only exercised twice this week, and was so scared i would have gained 1 pound, but when i checked this morning, it remained the same, phew!!! that was a relief....need to exercise more though....been too busy to exercise this week....
