NONSENSE TALKS.....

FisifunKododada:

cool Because our Judicial system is rotten to the core - even Ibori was ONLY brought to justice by a British court. Even if a Nigerian court finds Dasuki and Metuh guilty this afternoon, within 24hrs they would bribe another judge that would vacate the ruling of the original court. And the saga will continue endlessly, wasting time and money. What Buhari and his legal team are doing is controversial but necessary. We have to get some of these stolen funds/associated assets back so that they can be used to solve some of the teeming problems in the country. Also, indefinite detention will pass a strong message to all future looters that they can no longer depend on a corrupt judiciary to shield them from the executive arm. These are extraordinary situations that require extraordinary actions.

If this was here in the States, does this pendejo know that he just talked himself into at least 20 years in Prison?! HE HAS NO DEFENSE!!!

And why is the EFCC allowing all sorts of characters visit inmates pending trial? The ONLY people that should be allowed to visit him PRE-TRIAL are his legal team; even his spouse should only be allowed to speak to him on monitored phone calls and only for a few minutes each week until the conclusion of proceedings. He should not be allowed access to his PERSONAL phones, and his letters--- both incoming and outgoing--- except VERIFIED Attorney/Client correspondence should be monitored. The result of neglecting control of Pre-Trial Inmates is the idiocy we see in the above article.

Anyway, Nigeria is still learning, hopefully they get it right before it's too late.

Pending Trial you say? How long has he been remanded in EFCC custody and all we heard that he was arrested to explain his account balance of 1.4billion naira. In the States which u cited as an example, if there's no charge on anyone, he/she is meant to be release within a stipulated time. And besides, i'm beginning to doubt the EFCC, it's high time they start making public signed confession statements made by these men. None of us are aware what's happening in the four walls of the EFCC, all we know is what we read in the Media.

Let dem go to court period.if they go to court Nigerians can know better period.
The courts are corrupt, they might probably grant him bail of 100million, what happens to the remaining 300million, at least.
Let him return the loot first just like Jafaru, then we know the next line of action. If not, hin journey just start

And where in YOUR STATES are citizens detained without trial nor evidence linking them to a certain crime

Where in YOUR STATES does the president pronounce suspects guilty even without being pronounced so by the court of competent jurisdiction

Where in YOUR STATES do security apparatus kill and maim unarmed protesters as if they are suicide bombers

Why should the EFCC arrest and detain a suspect and then start searching for the appropriate offence to charge him for while the suspect rots away in detention....Is that how they go about it in YOUR STATES

You are a cretinous fuuktard!

E no go better for you.

In the states, if you are in possession of $3m of public money and your explanation is that the crook that gave it to you gave you to do an assignment you will not state, you will see whether your arsse would not be even in Guatanamo, fuuktard!

If you have a case against Metuh, take him to court and convict him. Thats what he is saying. Dont arrest me and then start looking for what I did. Before arresting me, you should have known what I did and gathered your evidences.

A "suspect" is begging you to take him to court.

And you are not taking him to court. It means that you dont have a case against him.

PMB is simply trying to silence all forms of criticism. But its not working. This briggando will eventually be their undoing.

You are a cretinous fuuktard!

So being with N400m of public funds is not doing something wrong?

I think you are not fair to the judges. The constitution need to be amended to stop all the frivolous injuctions. Also EFCC agents have to be trained so they don't scuttle the trials.

It is a charade?

What "assignment" did he carry out with N400m of government money that he can't publicly state?

Please tell me.

I have no idea. But it unreasonable to hold him in detention indefinitely because he supposedly received funds from the former president to do an assignment, whether that assignment was personal or official.

The issue here is that the EFCC should charge him with a crime or let go , while continuing with their investigations.
They have already violated his fundamental rights and the rule of law.
Even if they charge him with a crime, it cannot stand in a court of law.

Is EFCC interested in actually convicting and putting looters in prison, or just interested in in publicly shaming people they do not like ?

Even Dasukigate, of the EFCC was sincere, is a perfect opportunity to look at how political campaigns are financed in Nigeria.

It is utterly hypocritical to ignore the fact that APC also funded their ascension to.political power by also looting government coffers.
This is the culture in Nigeria.
It's a terrible culture that we should end by sincerity, not by political trials.

Don't mind the fuuktard!

In a country where less than 60% make over N2m a year, a fuuktard is saying he was paid N400m of public funds to do an assignment he would not reveal and he is wondering why he is in custody.

And some bunch of cursed, moronic fuuktards are coming here to defend him.

Americans stand in jail awaiting trial after they had been charged with crimes, had bail hearings, and then perhaps unable to meet bail conditions.

No.one is held in American jail without charge beyond 48 hours.

Who told you he is being held indefinitely?

Please educate me.

If he feels he is being held illegally, why has he not gone to court to sue the government. He is not an illiterate, is he?

So APC funding the election to power is an excuse to not charge him?
