The idea of calling days later to send that I-have-a life-of-my-own-and-i'm-not-a-desperate-wuss message to a girl is fairly ineffective. There was nothing logical about your first interaction together. Perhaps, some attraction string was struck and the emotion steam has began to heat a little, it doesn't guarantee that where you stopped that day is exactly where you will continue days after.

If this is impossible (as with many case), I schedule an outing with her for that night (or the next day).
