If you think the western powers are so helpful, how have they helped in the crisis in the middle east? They were the ones that escalated the violence.When Saddam Hussein was president, the violence was under control.There was mutual understanding amongst the minority leaders and he was the head.THEY HANDLED THEIR OWN PROBLEMS.Suicide bombings were occasional incidents.The U.S declared that they was evidence of weapons of mass destruction, till today, not even a torpedo has been found not to talk of nuclear warhead.What was the outcome of it all?Billions of dollars wasted,thousands of people killed and more violence.There isn't a day that passes by without news of suicide bombings (its no longer news.Skyrocketing of oil and gas prices.All this mayhem because they want to impose their culture and puppet government on a different race of people who have their own way of life.

Many thanks for your post above. The blunt truth is that some of us here are simply incapable of thinking through issues but would quick to repeat what the West feeds us using propaganda, lies and misinformation. It is a shame that some of us have sold our souls to the white man and would rather water down any achievements of the black man while dismissing even very glaring atrocities committed by some of these Western countries.

My happiness is that even in Zimbabwe there are a lot of people (even in the majority) that know the facts on ground and would rather stick with Mugabe than allow foreigners to take control of the country.

Thanks jare.It's always a welcome relief to see that a few see beyond their noses.You know, this back and forth postings remind me of the Tutsi and Hutu genocide years ago.These people were killing themselves off with machetes (over a million people died).The massacre went on for months before some sort of intervention came in.The reason for the delay?The country was of no resource value to them.If Zimbabwe was such a country without resources,the western powers wouldn't give a hoot if Mugabe and his future generation hold unto power till the year 7000.

The people might be going through rough times now but it's always like that.After the world war,Japan was completly desimated and virtually a waste land.Severe trade sanctions were imposed on them YET in 10 years, they were back on track ,in 20 years they were classified as a developing nation and in 30 years, they were recognized as a world power.

The problem with Africa is that we don't have a strong African Union (AU).Most of the members of that board are puppets to the western forces (except for the likes of Ghaddafi).As it is, the EU can impose sanctions on us at will but the AU no get mouth for where dem they.Does that make sense?Africa is our land and the AU should be the one deciding the fate of nations here not THEM.Its outrageous.If a true leader should emerge from Nigeria and change things around including easing off the grip of the western forces on us, the western forces can easily impose trade sanctions on us and no other country would buy our oil.Is that right?Who checks their own excesses?Hmmm?They can tell us what and what not to do but we can't tell them jack.From every angle you look at it, it sucks.

No one is denying the fact Mugabe has excesses of his own.The message i have been trying to convey is, the country would have fared better without all the sanctions and bad press.Think about it,lets go back years ago when he took over.If the country had been left as it is, allowed to continue trade,limited bad press and all, it would have been much easier for an opposition to come up and topple him.The thing is,the whole world has been unrelenting in painting him black (as if he's the most corrupt ruler in Africa, our LGA chairmen are by far worse) and some of his people are being swayed by that.I can remember years ago when he started his movement, he was seen throughout the contingent as a hero.With the continuous demonizing and imposed sanctions, the whole thing deteriorated.He might have gone corrupt along the line (no one is perfect) but he did have a vision for a free Zimbabwe.As for the weapons he tried to bring in,well he's human and with all the oppressive forces against him, he might be forced to do what's necessary.Look man, there is always some degree of bloodshed when it comes to politics (especially in underdeveloped Africa).In a previous post, i remember a mention of weapons being imported by him.Well, it is BIG NEWS coz it's Mugabe whilst in Nigeria, its nothing new.Even Councilors bring out the artillery during elections not to talk of governors.During the Yar Adua election or rather "selection", do you know how many trailer loads of ammunition that were seized (especially in the Eastern zones)?What is going on in Zimbabwe is no worse than our country (9ja has it worse sef in the sense that we have resources to turn not only our country but a few others around)

Issues like US invasion of Iraq based on lies, the last presidential election in the US that some people here claimed would be won by republicans in spite of the pre election polls, the last election in Iran and the sponsored demonstrations, Mugabe's issue and the opposition leader that was funded and supported by the West, Israel's high handedness and atrocities in Palestinian lands have been discussed here and those of us that have been accused of hating the West have always been right on the outcomes especially when the lies these guys are constantly being fed begin to crumble like packs of cards.

It is this frustration by these guys that is leading to unwarranted insults and abuses whenever they find it supremely difficult to defend a position or when they cannot engage in any intellectual argument. It is a shame that some of them claim to be educated even though I agree that education is one thing and ability to use the brain to think is yet another.

So, while Tudor will resort to insults anytime he cannot defend a position based on facts, truth and common sense thereby exposing his shallow reasoning on common knowledge issues I pity him because like others before him he will embarrass himself with his stupidity until he becomes ashamed of his chosen username and will now do what people like him do - abandon the username and register another one.

Let's get one thing straigth, Mugabe is corrupt, zimbabwe is bleeped up, most african leaders are corrupt and stupid. Nevertheless the alternative in zimbabwe's case is to support the west which broke an agreement with zimbabwe, hence in this case i would rather support zimbabwe taking a hardline against the white colonial land owners, rather than support the west on that issue.

It is an open secret that Haiti is bankcrupt and derelict today partly because of European historical blockade and discrimination against them as a nation of revolting slaves (chk ur history books for why) and also because Haitians themselves seem not to be able to get their act together. Hence i am not suprised that Britain and most of the West is applying that same tactics against Zimbabwe (even though Mugabe himself is corrupt). The bottom line is that History shows that the West would always support and favour whites over blacks in most issues, hence i could careless that colonial lands have been given back to the blacks (they deserve it since it was stolen from them in the first place).

What i do not support however is the taking of land away from whites that legally and commercially purchased a land from blacks openly without duress, so it would be wrong if it is found out that Mugabe also seized land from Whites that legally purchased those lands in a free market.

Yes that is true, hence why i believe Mugabe also has his own personal problems. However with all things considered, i am very sure the Europeans and white descendants in Zimbabwe would have found a way to sabotage the idea one way or another since they know those being groomed were supposed to replace them.

Mugabe is corrupt nevertheless even in situations where Africa has to be liberated from the colonialism of blacks by west/whites/arabs it sometimes has to be an abrupt and unexpected action that gets the action done.

South America is a typical example of what can happen if future generations of white imperialist are not removed abruptly (note that i still do not support violence against anyone or killing of anyone, nevertheless i do not oppose the use of government authority to abruptly claim back wat belongs to africa but was initialy stolen by the West).

White Zimbabweans can easily go back to Britain or anywhere else in the West while the black zimbabweans have no where else to go but remain in africa amongst their kit and kins, hence showing that after all is said and done, white with their white priviledge would still always have an allegiance to the west and not to the blacks of africa (infact recent news reports show that some whites have been resettled in Britain, while as usual the black zimbabweans continue to suffer for Mugabe's corruption and failed policies).

A stolen property is always a stolen property whether or not future generations claim it to be otherwise, most colonial lands and properties owned by whites in africa were either stolen or taken by the shedding of blood. Hence the most honourable thing that zimbabwe could have done was what they did in that they decided to agree that White farmers/land owners would get to be compensated for the lose of their land (which was stolen by their fore-fathers in the first place), yet at the end of the day it was USA and Britain that once again (as usual) betrayed the agreement. So in as much as I dislike Mugabe for his corruption, nevertheless i still at least have little or no sympathy for White colonial Land owners in Africa.

History shows they have stolen worse from Blacks and other nationalities , hence i have little compassion for any whites that inhereted colonial lands.

Thank you jare, at least thank goodness you are also one of the few blacks that seems to understand that Iraq War was an illegal war based on complete lies and false flag attacks on american people.

Yes the word "Evolutionary theory" might recent, the concept of evolution (i.e. an existence of life without a Creator had existed in one form or another even before then, Evolution Theory was basically the bringing together of past ideas)

1. I do not hate the West.
