Pls how long from the day u submitted ur receipt for tuition did it take them to request for another statement of account. I'm asking because it is about a month now that I did my medical and almost 2 weeks I resubmitted my passport n receipts

Don't worry. If dey needed ur bank statements dey wud say it in ur request for passport. But then agen lets also forget no two applications are the same hence the unpredictability.

hayek: Hello Fellow Forumites: I did my medical on June 22. I was told by the hospital that if there are further tests they would get back to me. I have not heard from them. I am assuming that the medical tests were okay. What I would like to ask more experinced folks here is the fact that when I was sent notification for medical, it was not accompanied with further instructions to pay either for tuition or boarding, although I sent along with my application deposi receipts of $400 for securing boarding. From what I have been reading on this forum, most people are asked to pay for tuition and boarding when they received their medical notification. Although I have been to Canada more than 4 times in the past and I also sent along with my application the copies of the visa stamps. My question would they still ask me to pay for tuition or boarding? If yes, at what point would they ask me to do this since it was not accompanied with my medical?

If they don't ask you then no problem. They ask people to pay stuff when they aren't too sure of the persons financial capabilities. So they ask you to pay to prove you can afford and also are committed to actually going for study reasons. As for me I was asked to pay only tuition no board. So don't worry yourself you are in the clear. Just chill for the visa.

My guy nah dis week I dey submit my own passport and school fees receipt oh! I did my meds on d 17th of June so I wuz asked to send my stuff exactly 3weeks after the medical so dat d results wud ave reached dem I guess.

My opinion is that, we should stop helping the VO think. How can you know what the VO decided or wud ave preferred? That's a person on his/her own.
Just they pray anytime you apply for visa Bcuz nah God still dey do am. Example, some people on this forum say you shouldn't use a company account that they wudnt agree. In fact an agency even told me the same when I went for enquiries. But today by the grace of God I ave done my medical about 3weeks ago and yes I did use a company account. My friend is in Canada and he use a company account. So lets just try to apply with what's necessary and available and leave the rest to God.

So yeh! Dis cic guys are randomly rejecting applications due to the few hands I suppose. I have a frnd at the British embassy and she sed at their place they do d same during peak periods they increase the rejection rate to be able to just get over and done with evri application dat comes in. (She duznt work in visa section but she is close to them)
