I am applying for mine on Wednesday, my father has been postponing but he just gave his final word as Wednesday next week. My schools resumes in 125days dats August 27th. Do u think I can still make it? And yeh it's seneca college Toronto. And yeh about mobile phones, my frnd wud be going to Canada soon. He said I shud ask if you can get a contract Lin and fone as a first yr international student.

I'm so restless coza this visa application. I'm thinking that submitting by may 1st for an August 27th entry would be too late. I had to postpone my submission because my dad wants to do some realotment to the company employee list.

GboyegaD: Do you truly think all those things strengthen applications or only makes the process longer? I think the best thing is providing the documents requested and having a good letter of interest addressing other things that you know can strengthen your application. This is why I will support the online application over and over any other type of application.

I know the online is good but I had a problem with it. I wanted to upload my acceptance letter (2 pages) and when I uploaded the first page, it didn't let me upload the second, saying it would replace the first uploaded document. I also tried putting in a file and uploading but instead the file would open and I would be asked to pick one.

Hello house, I've finally decided to go on with my visa application. I'm using the online method. As I said earlier I am using my dads company as a sponsor's account and he is giving me a letter headed, letter of sponsorship from him and the company and he is also taking and affidavit to say he would be the one to sponsor me. I have the CAC documents of the company, tax receipt of the year ended 2012, his personal tax receipt as well. And I want to include his marriage certificate and some pictures to show I have ties to the guy and that he is really my dad. Please am I over doing it or is there stuff I still need to include. (I have also included his comoany bank statement for the past 12months)

@gboyegaD I have decided to apply for my canadian student permit. And if a decision comes from UMass after I have submitted my application to Canada, then I would withdraw my passport from the CDHC. And apply for a USA study permit.

Acceptance letter
Waec results
TOEFL passwords
Bank statements.
Letter from sponsor (my dads company)
Tax history
Certificate of company incorporation..
Marriage certificate of my parents.

Is there anything I am missing? And do I need to pay my school fees before applying?

I got admission from Seneca college for PG. I paid tuition fee last week. What next do i do to get confirmation of my payment from them for Visa stuff?

Accra no vex I'm just seeing this, I was off nairaland for a while. I haven't paid my tuition fee yet, they said deadline is June 14th to pay mine, and start date is 27august. I haven't even applied for my study visa yet but I hope to do so on 30th April.

GboyegaD: I don't think there should be a need to be torn between the 2choices as I am sure you have a reason for picking the schools you picked. However, most schools have already made their 1st and 2nd rounds of admission and I am not sure admission is still on going particularly for funding. Although I know UMass, Amherst has a policy of not posting admission decision on time on your profile however, I am not sure which of the UMass campuses you are applying to. I would advise that if by close of business on Monday you are yet to get their decision, kindly go ahead to call your Graduate Program Advisor for the program you are applying to and ask for the decision concerning your application. That way you can know what the outcome is and then take the next move. I would also advise that while you wait until then, kindly gather every necessary documents you may need for your visa application together so that you are sure you are prepared for whichever one you are to apply for.
I hope in my little way I have been able to answer some of your questions while we await others to add their input.

@gboyegaD it is the Umass Lowell campus! And the pre-masters program is being run by navitas at Umass Lowell (that's the name on the Umass website) does it also help if I say I used an agency (Bcie) to apply for Umass Lowell

Hello house! PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP! I have been following you guys since part 2. But I really need your help guys. I am torn between to choices. I have an acceptance letter from seneca college (CAN) with start date for September. And I also have put in application for university of Massachusetts pre-master program (USA). I plan to wait for Umass till April 30 and if I don't hear from them then I apply for my canadian student visa but a friend of mine is saying, to apply for a visa by first week of may, then I might be too late already. (School resumes 27 August) he is saying I should either apply now or forget it and just wait for an offer letter from the Umass school in the US. PLEASE I BEG YOU, ANSWER MY WUESTIONS PLEASEEEEEEEE!

@dommakaveli, I haven't received an email notification and I have tried calling severally but they just leave me hanging on hold. I wonder the problem with this seneca people.

@ideolah, I submitted my application for a January resumption for 2013 on the 22nd of July 2012 and I didn't get a reply until November hence I had to push my admission to September 2013. So lets say 4months. (Was seneca college sha PGd). Ehen so anyway guys dis seneca people are yet to give me an acceptance letter but my portal keeps saying I have been accepted.

2-chains seneca college Toronto PG fall term!

Guys I don join Una ohh! I get admission to Seneca PGd dis fall ohh! Abeg when we dey go attack embassy? (I do not mean violently I mean submit applications and stuff)

Please I graduated with a second class lower and I am being told by people I can't find a univeristy in Canada that can accept me for masters. But is there any univeristy I can do a short pre masters programme to qualify for entry to masters or do I have to go to a community college first before I apply for the masters. And please what is the visa application duration like.
Does anyone know about the royal roads univeristy in brisket ish Columbia?

NOTE: I have admission to Seneca college in Toronto and I am about to take the gmat on th 8th of march in hope that I would get a Canadian school that would admit me.
