I reeat,do not change gearbox. Did u guage thw gear oil to see if its full up to the max level. When valve body js replaced ,all the gear oul gets drained. Converter will swalow another 3 litres,didi pour gear oil up to 8 litres normaly i dont usually discard drained gear oil ,as gear oil hardly fets dirty like engine oil. If i drain 5 litrea,i use 2 and a half litres of the drained oil back to transmission and add another 6 litres max.ifbu go buy gear,you gotaya cos na condem dem go giv u as toks,with dia sweet mouth filled of i give u 1 year warranty bullshit

I use a c280 4matic, 2007 model, in December 2025 I had problems with the gear,once I drive for a distance it suddenly loses power and I have to park, switch the engine off for about 30 seconds and once I start the car and put into gear it will move for maybe another minute before the same problem happens and I have to go through the same process again.

I got a mechanic who diagnosed a valve body issue which he fixed and the problem stopped for a month only for it to happen again last week.

The mechanic says we need to change the gearbox this time but I'm scared of the same problem happening after since the gearbox will be a toks, what do you advice.

Always buy Samsung. If I'm broke and I need a mid range phone I buy smsubf of 180k cos I know the screen won't exceed 30k. But all those high end phones. I run fro them. How can 4 plugs chop fuel. The plugs were bad and carbon filled and also the absence of catalyst....dirty maf sensor,dirty 02 sensors. Once I drive andi come back,esp almost 3 hrs drive and I put the gear on idle. If the rpm stays below 1000 rpm ,I know my plugs are fouled with carbon. The following day,i loose them all and clean them shapely then rinse with petrol and install back. I hate mechanics,rewires and all cos na beer money de de collect from my hand, unless the fix pass my knowledge.i go call and its usually ball joint,shocks,belt,ac gas,brake pads,linkage,bushings,the restlike theottle body,,coils,battery terminals,radiator,condenser,fuel pumps,fuses,radio install,back cam,etc i do it myself bro . Dc no be fuel guzzler .mei dey drive v6 and my fuel must not pass half tank..so i notnally top up 6k,5k..i no ean dey hear say fuel pass half mark.
