Though a shaky battery could make a phone go off but it must not be till the battery level drops below 100% cos even at 100% a shaky battery could stil make ur phone go off. My fone switches off most often at low Battery,usually 45% or lower...Can you imagine??
sometimes it might switch off even when the Percentage of the Battery is High
And if you remove the battery insert it back it might drain all the remaining Battery

It is very simple
Seems they (BB)made the battery alittle bit shorter than the fone case so it is affecting [+ -] string
