Captain8: give the job to ibo youthz... majority of your ibo youthz are jobless,,,infact I fed one ibo youth in delta for almost a year.. He was a die hard biafran and was part of oyigbo clash with military,,,the action woke put in place makes him run to delta,,he was helping a man to sell some food stuffs...I did not know this guy,,but any time I went to the store to buy things, he hailed, oga oga wetin dey for boy na, I neva eat o,a man that senior me with 5 years...so I gave him money,,,,so keep on doing it and that's how I give....I gave him not because of the iga he called me but because he said he is hungry,,,I never knew he was Igbo, I thought he was urhobo.
So one day I heard making call speaking Igbo....so I ask him and he told yes he is ibo,, likewise he never knew I was Ijaw,,,so I told him I am Ijaw,,,he was wow.
So we became friends,,and I invite him to my house and eat. So every day he come to my house and eat, despite I was attacking ibos on nairaland...but I never told him. I just take him as my brother,,despite my hatred for kanu and ojukwu.
Though, he almost provoke me when he said we are all biafrans.....he quickly apologize.
but he said why then we Ijaws rejecting biafra? that's how I begin to impact knowledge into his brain....I make him to understand the reason why we reject biafa not that we hate ibos.......and he understand.
So he asked me where are Ijaws going to be since we don't want biafra,,,,,,I like him for that his question,,,so I told him Ijaw Republic....I told him many things about the the Ijaw republic. I told him many things about Ijaw,, that's when he begins to understand Ijaw people..
So all this online ibos shouting we blothers, we are blothers...we are all biaflans, we are all biaflans,,,,just sent them to me,,,they will understand Ijaws..
If I hate ibo, I won't have help that guy.....I make him to understand, that the biafra is what we Ijaws hate not ibos....but the reason it appear as if we hate ibos,,is because of criminal and brainless kanu and his fellow brainless ibo youths call ipob. Kaikai influenced talk dem. Mumu man. Well, I have stopped talking about ijaw issues. Even my own uncle, late professor Okoko sent killers after me because I challenged him and told him how he is part of the problems wrong with the ijaw land. Just last year, I got threats to my life because I was trying to fight our youths cause against SPDC. Those whose chopping were threaten came against. I won't involve in your stupidities against. I suppose you are a youth. You can continue like most of you are: answering "comrade this, comrade that or general this or general that. Making unnecessary noise all in the name of IYC politics and militancy. And then get contented when some changes drop from fg for you to use do " owirigi" and carry dirty ashawo. Look, I know that you are shocked coming across an ijaw man that doesn't behave and reason like the average mediocre person. |

Those who are against him,or even Atiku, are those hoping on Tinubu for some largess. OkoRemi2023: I don't like how you exonerate Buhari from the blame, Buhari is not a wise man after all, a man that don't care of history and records
Tinubu get blame for this man for his 8yrs that he foolishly allowed cabal to rule, if Buhari is well academically educated and politically educated we won't be reading this cabal up and down
most time education doesn't determine exposure, I have seen uneducated people who have the exposure and experience that those that have the education don't have
I agree that Tinubu is not worry about the fuel and new naira note because of vote buying or his personal interests, he's only worried that Buhari hasn't impress the Nigeria people with his nonchalant attitude and lapses in bringing rapid development and assurance to Nigerian people and yet there is now fuel scarcity and scarcity of new naira notes, how then did he want to convince electorates at the campaign when his party as an incumbent is nonchalant towards the plight of Nigerians?
his outburst is justify, Tinubu deserved respect and support from him, I believe no matter how much they tried they will fail, Tinubu have exonerate himself from Buhari nonchalant attitude towards Nigeria people through his public submission Tinubu would have bought the love of sane Nigerians if he had even in a singular moment stood on the side of the masses and spoke truth to Buhari. But everytime he spoke, he praised Buhari. So, why is he crying now? |

If not for the irritant Yoruba moslems that have made politics a dirty thing, especially considering what they did to Goodluck, and their hatred for the igbos, I would have said power should come to the south by any means, and that anybody between Tinubu and Obi should win. But I don't trust the Yoruba Muslims and Tinubu to protect the interest of the igbos, especially security wise. Those dirty agberos will release hell on innocent igbos should Tinubu wins. The lives and properties of the igbos will not be safe under Tinubu, as he is a very vindictive man. And again, that will embolden the agberos to show more wickedness. And those set of yorubas will set the unity of the South on fire, as they will feel that they don't need the South South and South East in anything. That potends danger, as despite our divisions, we still need one another, especially against any external aggression. Our unity in the south has a lot of potentials that we have only lacked foresight to utilise yet. So, those are major reasons why I want Obi to win, as he will help to cool down the hot atmosphere in every corner, and both the North, SS, middle belt, SW, SE, will be protected under Obi without favour or malice. Meanwhile, I don't also trust Atiku to really have the interest of the entire south, especially security wise. Atiku candidacy may likely see more killing, and he will do nothing but send fake condolences messages. And he may use divide and conquer means against the South. He might align with the SE in order to make the SW jealous, or vice versa. Or, even try to be vindictive against Wike and his G5 members, which may heat up the polity in the South, which may cause further divisions and chaos. |
Romance › Re: My Fiancee Jokingly Said She Will Separate Me And My Brother When We Get Married by 2elliot: 7:07pm On Jan 26, 2023 |
Ndubuisipaul1: My fiancee told my younger brother that she will send him out of my house if we get married. She was joking, but it didn't sound like a joke to me.
Let me tell you how this started. My younger brother told my fiancee jokingly, that he will be sending her on errand anyhow, when she marries me. Although he went too far for saying he will be sending her on errand anyhow. But he has every right to send her on errand because he senior her. She then replied that if my brother do anyhow, when we get married she will ask me to send him away from my house. At this point I stop seeing the whole discussion as joke. I asked her to repeat what she said, she repeated it again (take note: she was saying everything jokingly)
I told her right away that if my brother comes visiting when we get married, she will not send him away. She said she will use her woman power to make me send him away.
She went further to ask me, that if they ask me now to choose between her and my brother who would I choose. I told her I would choose my brother (she could see the seriousness in me).
And I really meant it, any girl that will separate me and my brother will have to use jazz .
This my younger brother established the business that I am doing today. Has done countless number of things for me.
We don't joke with each other, and she knows that.
So am really scared, could this be a joke ? even though it a joke. How can a woman joke that she will separate two brothers ?
Nairalanders, please help a brother with your advice. is this a red flag ? As much as you will protect your girl from disrespect, don't also allow her to feel too big. Some of thee girls dey wash their elder brothers' clothes for their papa house as unmarried ladies. Some no dey fit raise voice for their mean elder brothers or sisters. They was toilets, clean house and cook. Na until them meet simp boyfriends and husbands, dem dey begin set unnecessary standards. Don't allow any woman to come between your blood, unless you are certain that your blood started the issue. |

priceactionx: Oga Paul, she is right. Please define a marriage. If you can genuinely define it, then you will be matured to handle what may come your way. Yours is to protect her especially a young marriage. She does not have a problem with your brother until your brother insist he would be sending her on an errand. Who does that? As for say na him marry her or assistant husband? You too dey support nonsense. He is a brother not your mum for Christ sake. when you married, and you want peace, you first of all separate family members coming to stay from those that just coming once in a while. No matter what your brother might have done for you, he can always come like a visitor and your marriage will have peace. If you want him to always be around you, let him get his apartment close to you and get an house help to do the running up and down, and you can always visit each other. once she is married to you, she won't allow someone sending her up and down for no reasons. She is not a house help but your own help mate talk less of being an errand girl for another person that is not feeding her. Baba.. Reason am na. if you can't abide by simple marriage code that can bring early peace, no need to marry at all. It's that simple. Una never still learn. Some of these girls wey dey old for their papa houses dey cook for family, clean entire house, some even wash their elder brothers' clothes. They fear some of their elder brothers and sisters. But immediately reach their boyfriends and husbands, they set unnecessary standards. What is wrong is for the op's brother to send his girl on an errand especially when he is older than she is? |

Scientheosopher: The popular narrative that it would reduce or stop voting buying during the election is largely false. Politicians will buy it from Bank managers and thus would have it to buy the votes. And I think this the major reason it's scare: majority of the ones given to banks have been bought by politicians.
All I see is a big win for the lords of CBN and Banks. But huge suffering to the poor masses.
#As pointed out by the article, the deadline will be postponed. Don't panic.
My fear however is that considering the current fuel scarcity in addition to the deadline, it would likely lead to a protest. This might necessitate postponing the election date thereby extending Buhari's stay in office. Very bad! You understand these things.
