In as much as I'm surounded by doctors&I've always bin on dia sides, I wld want dos suportn dem 2 knw dat housemanship is part of d training required 4 dia edification&personal development in dia chosen career. Meanwhile, considering dia take home relative 2 oda profesionals, I feel dere's no need 4d teaching alowance. HOs too r usualy taught along wt d clinical students 2 refresh wot dy learnt yrs bak most times,so dy cld b considerd as drs servin 2 learn more. Givin dem 2 teachn is a priviledge dat is helpful 2 dem n shld b acknowledged like I did as a corper teaching I.t Students. An atempt to pay dem now wl profer 4 an increment in future,& wil pave way 4 oda profesionals 2 embark on similar path wch wil not help later.
But com 2 tink of It, shld lawyers b paid such too while dy receive several practices In law sch,..? Infact, d present wages considerd token by som here is d only reason u see som kids rushn in 2 study medcine. Presently, hardly wld u gain admision in2 medcine if u aint influential,d big wigs see it as one dat cld pay dia wards relatively reasonable in d public,& atempt 2get it by all means thereby depriving d passionate masses. Continued embelishment of wages 4 dz noble profesion wil soon deprive it of d pasion d early doctors intended.

If u cld get a gud consultant like d QC mgr I servd unda if ua wilin 2 venture...Its soap manf biz. Evryone uses soap atleast 1ce daily. @vic..- if der's one tin I enjoyd doing durin nysc, l'l tell u its NIM. Diff Pple av diff opnion dependn on seriousness in ur centre,who u ar,ur comitment & wot u want.
Som corpers don't atend lectures at all n won't even prepare,all dy want is write xam n get certfcate. Mine was diff,even if I neva pasd d exam I gained alot dat cld enhance my skills in my chosen career. All I wanted was somtin dat cld enlighten & boost my knwledge/CV on mgt since I don't av such bakground. I'm glad I got dat in NIM. Due 2d alarming competition in d labor mkt,I'v decided 2 upgrade myself 2 fiting any dept. I'v aplyd 4 sales,managerial positions&quality control. In an interview last wk,d interviewer was impressed@my response and askd if I cld work in d sales dept cos of certain skills he saw?I laughd n told him Iv only developd mysef 2 sooth any positn available but I'l prefer a place in d lab wch is d basis of d interview.
To be a boss in any dept;lab,production,sales,HOUR etc I think d first skill is managerial skills whch NIM can offer. D corporate law course enlightens you on legal tins u need to knw, 2 incorporate ur own biz n wot ur statutory rights are in ur organizatn. Infact,der's a lot 2 gain..u v idea of financial mgt,corporate governance,stocklisting,types of companys u can incorporate,mgt principles,comunicatn,biz ethics..etc.
Surprisingly, many of d so called mgt grad8s who badmouthed NIM as notin cos of there familiarity stil end up trying to cheat in xam or failing outrightly. Thnk God my centre didn't giv room 4 cheating, evryone 'OYO'.
Amazingly,I see lot of vacancys dt state specificaly dt u must b NIM certified 2 apply.
Note- u must b sure ua ready 2 read 4 it 2 register o,as e no too dey easy o!its 8 courses in like 2 semesters..o madt small o!

So sad! Don't knw why d news didn't spread as expected. I rmemba wen he was invited as a speaker at our final year prog back den in oauife. Dz is a gr8 loss 2d nation. It pains me to d bone!!! RIP gud man of gr8 legacy!

It apears like I see tins differently about ds courses o. As a biochemist I found myself fiting into any manufacturing company. I also fit into O&G, hospitals,research institutes&labs. Infact, der r numerous oportunitys 4 chemists dan u guys tink o. I did my IT in a botling coy(QC),NYSC in a soap coy and presently going to work with a Food coy. Whatelse do you guys want o.We have uncountable manufacturing coys in Nig,Lagos esp, and all of dem needs our service as analyst. I see prospects here eventhough I am NIM&HSEcertified. All d best 2u all!
