The special data offers you get from mtn by dialing *121# seem to offer good value for money BUT in my experience it is very frustrating browsing with those plans. I noticed a huge difference in speed when browsing with normal data and when browsing with those *121 data, i can't access some apps and website with those *121 data offers. Is it just me or is it a general thing?

OP pick yourself up because self pity will do you no good. The mistake you made is you didn't give yourself a timeline of how long you'll be doing that underpaying teaching job, 2 years is already too much. That job will only rob you of the opportunity and chance to get a real job that will pave way for a better life.

Like someone suggested earlier quit that teaching work and get something more flexible while you wait for your dream job. Get a skill if possible while in this process

I think you should major on your course of study, probably master or professional certification or better still save up and learn a skill...

I recently created a thread where I asked on professional certification to have in job search.

I'll advise you to go learn a skill now in addition to that degree you're about to obtain especially this period you still have time and brain willing to learn. e.g. graphic design, HSE, welding, scaffolding, CCTV installation, inverter installation etc.

In the current employment market, there's no guarantee that what you studied in school is what will put food on your table

Lol, the app is still very much in the store man. Search for it first in Google them use the Play store link.

FYI an apps absence from play store doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe e.g. Fortnite.

For starters search how to unlock bootloader for your device like you've been advised earlier.

Go to APK mirror and download google framework. V10(November 2020) if you are still on Android 10
Or the V11 released January 27 or so if you are on Android 11.


Also have you thought of the possibility of unlocking bootloader and flashing the main Global ROM?

The bolded is the only solution to get GMS working on that device.

Awhile back I recall reading the discontinuation of GMS on China only released Xiaomi models and his falls under that category.

Under SIM management in settings you can rename the 2 SIMs. So when a call comes in above the avatar the SIM name is displayed

No company wants to tie down its products in a warehouse or showroom if patronage for that exact model is low somewhere, while same model is in hot demand elsewhere. How many Nigerians are buying flagships in comparison to midrange & entry level devices?

Even Apple scaled down production of the iPhone 12 mini due to its slow sales figures. Samsung focus more of their flagship offerings to Western and more developed countries because that's where they will sell more.

Nigeria is not a tier 1 country when it comes to tech & gadgets thus midrange and entry level smartphones distribution will always be the priority
