Don't you guys ever get tired of these android one, stock android and miui arguments? I buy any phone i want my with my money, i can do whatever i want with it, you prefer miui fine live with it, you prefer stock android, fine live with it, what's so difficult about this? Y pushing ur preference down people's throat
Take a chill pill bro, nobody is forcing his/her preference on anybody. We're all highlighting why we prefer our choice which some folks might not be aware off. Am sure there are persons here picking a point or two from the discuss which is what this forum is all about.

Looking to get a led TV, any model in mind especially based on picture and sound quality
Check Skyworth TVs on Jumia & physical shops, they're feature packed with great picture quality and cost effective. A friend of mine that's crazy for LG & Samsung TVs couldn't believe the quality when compared before he made the switch.

Basically, you'd never know what buttery smoothness is until you try Android One.
I think that's why it seems like once you enter, you never leave stock android
Naa, I jump am pass (in Ifedith's voice grin). You mean Andriod One buttery smoothness that will bore one to death due to the emptiness of the OS? Am sure skipping on these extra features added by MIUI, Oxygen OS, Fly Me etc is the secret behind the so-called smoothness. I know several folks that got tired of their brand new Pure Android OS devices within a couple of days.

for each features u mention not every1 use or care about all of em and for enthusiasts dt prefer stock android, with root access life bcm a bed of roses for em
Why go through all that stress when one's peeps are getting it by default?

NoDulling4here:
Guys using stock android or Android One devices, what are your solutions or alternatives to the following MIUI features?

1) Screen recorder
2) Superb screen capture and image editor
3) Messaging and calling app (much better than android messages and the others)
4) Compass app
5) Security app with built-in firewall and ability to selectively restrict apps from accessing the internet
6) Themes!!!
7) Dual apps!!! (e.g running two instances of Whatsapp for both SIMs)

Or do you prefer sacrificing some or all of the above in exchange for a smoother performance? smiley
Point of correction: MIUI is still buttery smooth despite all these features incorporated into the OS. Times have changed and custom skins can no longer be laughed at due to lag

What was the custom charge on the TV u ordered
I ordered it from Konga, when their game was still tight. Seems the brand was trying to make inroads into the Nigerian market then

Na so xiaomi dey reserve the juiciest features for india since i sabi dem oo,

Mayb someone can giv us a better reason sha grin
If you know how juicy just the Indian and Chinese markets are, you too will be giving them deals all the way from Nigeria cheesy Those Asians dey born like kilode!

Once I was shopping for an LED TV then came upon the name Skyworth, after much research I realized a company can be among the top 10 electronic brands in the globe without even selling outside China

They just want to flood the market so you will decide between a xiaomi phone and another xiaomi phone, no place for thinking of another brand. lolllll
Like seriously and I must admit I like their business model. If you want ultra cheap, big battery or humongous screen no problem. You want skinned android e dey, pure android either with or without notch they got you covered. Then those looking to break the bank for flagship stuff nko, no p. Looking at this technique its only natural that they achieved the kind of growth they got within the last year.
Samsung was doing same thing years back but then ditched it to only favour people with big budgets.

shocked undecided

If Xiaomi like make let them release back to back phones per every day, my minimum of 2 years policy stands.

At this rate I'll probably upgrade to RN 12 grin

Any Glo 4g user in Port Harcourt? How's the consistency of the service? Is it any different from what we're used to getting from Glo in the past?

Probably so but Kenya is equally corrupt

Maybe they're planning for the future.. They could have used social media too though but I'm sure they're coming back
Well me dunno Kenya, I'll rather stick with what i know. Did I mention that it was about the same time they entered the Kenyan market?

Xiaomi launched their Pocophone F1 in Kenya and not Nigeria

Seems they're not ready for the big step up and they don't want money yet.

Them suppose come chase Tecno and Infinix comot naija for us and you can bet they'll do that if they come here
A couple of years back Xiaomi attempted entering the Nigerian market via partnership with Jumia or so (correct me if am wrong) but the deal didn't sail thru.

You & I know the Nigerian factor was definitely involved. Maybe after considering how many palms they'll need to grease in addition to other logistical & bureaucratic bottlenecks that is unique to our business environment they changed their mind.

So have it at the back of your mind that it's Nigeria that doesn't want to step up

Strange that China is not among the listed countries, hope this won't negatively impact our Aliexpress supply chain? On a second thought am sure Lei Jun have another trick up his sleeves like he did to the Indians in the case of the RN5 Pro

Even if you buy iPhone x. As long as you expose it to moisture Eg you allow it to get wet without removing it from the silicone case and cleaning it properly before replacing it, the wear mark will come on the iPhone x.

From time to time, try to remove your phone from the silicone case and wipe it clean....
Funny how people think that the iphone is flawless and was made in heaven. I'll applaud you for taking out time to respond to that statement

Cost of delivery to Bayelsa? Who secures my payment?
Cost of shipping to Yenagoa is dependent on the Bus company. Alternatively if you have a friend or relative leaving PH to Yenagoa I'll gladly pass the package to your contact, am sure this takes care of your second question.

Update, then do a factory reset
Why factory reset? Do you do that on all your official updates because in all my years of using official MIUI roms I just update and continue using my phone & I've never had issues

Someone complained about battery life dipping some pages ago.
That is peculiar to that guy. Am on same version without any issues whatsoever
