I have seen an average student in WAEC come out with 1st class in his university degree, I have also seen a straight A WAEC student graduate with 3rd class in the university.

Correct. Many people I know personally who cleared WAEC did not graduate with better scores than so called average students in University.

Common entrance that people run for their kids JAMB is a much more than average secure exam.

Nigeria need to start it’s own banking analysts and rating agencies to in turn rate all these foreign company’s for African investment. I am often dismayed with this fixation so many have with Lagos supposedly having “turned revenue around”. While it is generally a positive, it is NOT the primary function or government nor in fact Lagos’ primary problem (moreso if there’s any veracity in the allegations of a percentage of such revenue collections ending up in private pockets). The unfortunate reality is that, even with all of its “revenues” and supposed wealth, living in Lagos is akin to being served rich caviar on a bed of human feaces.

Sadly Lagos is a city that does NOT work - even for its own residents (many of whom have low standards and obviously limited exposure and expectations). And I say this as someone who’s lived in Lagos since moving to Nigeria and taking up Nigerian citizenship, but please don’t take my word for it. Instead, and I am not even going to compare Lagos with the world capitals that we aspire to, just visit several other AFRICAN cities (Kigali, Accra, Nairobi, Rabat and Casablanca, Addis Ababa, etc. Arguably, even Abuja and Uyo).

The Nigeria Government need to check this and stop it. Also this minister needs to be probed seriously. She ran the country to the ground with unaccounted loans.

All the loans with their terms and conditions now need to be reviewed and questioned. We need to start being accountable or Nigeria will go into a financial crises we cannot manage.

With all the money JAMB makes everywhere, all their exams should be completely computerized in controlled exam centers. Miracle centers should not exist anymore. Exams can be done in batches with each batch having different questions to accommodate everyone. They should have big computerized halls in ministries of education or have companies they outsource the exam services to.

Also, Government should ensure only those that attain the age of 18 and completed SS3 can take the JAMB. It will reduce the amount of examinees.
