I don’t understand what Africans are doing with these Arabs. They don’t even see Africans as human. How will an Arab tell you to go and kill your brother and you will do it? If Vice versa they will kill the African even if their Arab brother is Christian. We are our own problem and we need to start knowing what to take from outsiders to see their motives. They will never want their own countries destabilized but go around trying to destabilize African countries then treat them like animals when they become refugees in these Arab country’s. Make una begin get sense and resist the madness. It’s embarrassing.

Kukutenla:
Are you from Mars or something? Even the Op made it clear there were 42 ministers before. Where did you get 72 from? There were 29 ministries headed by ministers before, with Buhari heading one of them. Out of the 29, 13 had ministers of state while each ministry had a P.S making 29 P.S. That's 29+13+29=71
Now, if ministers of state is cancelled, you'll have 42 ministries, with each having P.S making it 42 P.S giving 42+42=84.
Besides, if you're familiar with ministries, works and housing had only one director of admin, finance, ICT each. If it's split, each will have one director each per unit making it twice the same or do you expect the finance director in one ministry to act as finance director for another?
C'mon man
You are counting things that don’t exist and lack comprehension. Permanent secretaries are always going to be there. They never change, there are also directors who can be promoted to new Perm Secs. Now, like I said, no one is creating a new ministry it will just be restructured

Kukutenla:
No you don't understand. Each ministry statutorily must have a perm. sec. Ministers of state do not have a separate P.S. When you have a ministry, your budget is expanded to accommodate the needs of that ministry.
for example, keyamo under Ngige never had a P.S attached to him. He shared same P.S with Ngige while Sadiyya had a separate P.S as Minister for Disaster.
So you can't cut cost by having more ministries. It's like having more children
There are Directors in that Ministry already. Like Works and Housing can be split. The Directors and employees for works and housing will also be split. They already exist it’s just the reporting lines. They will not employ new people. For instance before, there were 36 Ministers and 36 Minister of State. That is about 72 people Government had to pay! Now it’s 42 people which is significantly less. The fact is it will be less expenditure by Government. They will just restructure the ministries.

You want people that will go there and be leaking rumor, when their heart are not pure towards him. Causing trouble and distraction in Governance based on their inferiority complex. These are his Special Assistants, federal character is not required. He will work with who he is comfortable with, and can carry out his orders as required. The names and lies you have told against him is not enough? The guy de learn from you na.

Lol. The extra 6 spots are for his Governors. I think the normal 37 or 36 will be spread out by State. So Igbo States will get their portfolios. He will probably fill those positions with technocrats.

Cutting off minister of state and having 42 ministries will actually increase the cost of governance. Each minister will have his own budget for his ministry not to mention increase in number of PS, Directors, Heads in each units leading to a more bloated civil service.
So much for removing subsidy on fuel to subsidise govt
Each former Minister has Minister of State which was a duplication of the work. So yes, cost of Governance has been cut short. A minister having all this has always been in existence so, it will not significantly increase the budget. He is just separating some Ministries that have been conjoined before into individual ones and it’s just the reporting structure that will change. The employees in the Ministry are already present.

Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun for the good of the country need to go and rest. Is Gbenga not in the Senate? Why does he want to be Minister again? Also, I don’t see the need in Ambode being given a space by consolation in the Senate. It’s better he be given a board position or NPA and Abiru stay where he is, while another technocrat fills up that spot.

I understand the need to console your loyalists, Tinubu has found a way to maneauver it smartly by increasing the number of Ministers and cutting off minister of state. So essentially he will reduce the cost of Governance but his loyalists still get rewarded.

He’s not British-Nigerian. He is a Nigerian born in Abia State that acquired British Citizenship probably through dubious means. This play on words and emotions like he is a British born Nigerian will not work. He will stay long in that 6x6 prison till he is sentenced for terrorism, treason and other offenses.

If Britain intervene then they are aiding and abetting a terrorist. This is a guy that was granted bail but he jumped bail and ran on YouTube and Facebook inciting terrorism in Nigeria. He was given a chance but he showed everybody that he’s a baboon that belongs in a cage in the zoo.

Shame to all the perpetual victims. Who have chosen to see life from the lens of victimhood instead of admitting faults. A way to escape responsibility and accountability consistent with the elders of that group. Including a shameless old woman called Oby Ezekwesili. Who will drag her whole tribe in the mud for cheap political gains when she’s educated enough to know the truth. Just misleading and lying to the gullible youth.

IBB should have just handed over...but the Northern guys were threatening fire and brimstone, and Nigeria was in a scary place that 1993.

But honestly, I do not understand why Northern governors in 1993 were threatening fire and brimstone if MKO took over. At best he had 4 years to do his thing, and if he messed up, he got thrown out. 8 years even. But fire and brimstone, and then we got a 'Interim government' and then Abacha came and swept away everything in Nov 1993. Four years later, Abacha was essentially running a personality cult. (It got so bad that people were wearing Abacha badges, buying Abacha televsion and cooking with Abacha stove. And you best not talk out too loud against the man).

We got 5 more years of army rule because some people could not wait 8 years for their turn, and could not accept defeat and were stoking the spirit of 1966-70.

That's when I understood that Nigerians are not interested in development, but only in their side winning.

(I didn't expect MKO to do great...I just wanted us to have civilian government like all our African neighbours. Benin, Ghana, etc were having presidental elections, presidents getting sworn in, and here we were in Nigeria...)
Nobody was threatening fire and brimstone against Babangida. It was Babangida behind it all. His greed got the best of him. Who is Abacha to Babangida? He just chose to do the wrong thing at the expense of power and greed. He just lied on Northerners being a minority.

Put more tax on public utilities and give tax incentives to companies so employees can feel the impact and it can even out plus pay for all our infrastructure debt. But the issue of multiple taxation across the country need to be addressed.

The abroad you people are always quoting and jealous of, they tax to the hilt. But you will cry that you are suffering, when they ask you to pay tax, you start crying like a bush baby. Decide whether you want development or you want to stay in the hut in the village feeding from your garden.

Ilorin people better embrace an open and accommodating religious tolerance. At the end of the day, that Emir is Emir of Fulani. They should realize they are useful idiots and when it is time for ethnic cleansing, they will remember some people are not Fulani. Or Muslim enough. Ask Southern Kaduna how far.

I used to think this way but honestly Nigeria and her citizens are just not it.
The first priority will be to get it going, established and fit for the purpose of earning this country a steady stream of foreign exchange to help balance our books.

That should be our priority, the only priority now. And if that means 100% owned and operated by foreigners I am good with that.
Providing jobs and tech transfer comes a distant second.

Just look at what we have done with our industries including all those Obasanjo seized from multinationals starting in the 70's and where they are today.

The answer to that poser is simple. Let foreigners run this one and then incentify the next Dangote to prospect in another for the purpose of satisfying all other ideals. Afterall we have so called trained operators to manage the refineries and yet they are moribund caused by indigenous management.
No sane country will constantly allow foreigners to come and run everything. We must provide our unemployed jobs in exchange for opportunity that the investors are coming for. In most countries you have to prove there is no one you can train in such expertise before you bring in someone from your country. Talking down on your people is not the best way. Foreigners come and do the same thing in Nigeria because Nigeria simply does not enforce laws to promote entrepreneurship, and jail thieves. We have to start holding ourselves accountable so these skills can transfer into industry. A lot of Nigerians own indigenous companies and they are doing well.

This Tapa man wants to claim Ijebuland! Dey play. Ijebu land extends from Ogun state into Lagos state. Epe and Lekki are part of Ijebuland

When Kosoko fled Lagos to Epe, the Elepe then sought the permission of Awujale to accept Kosoko and his Nupe slaves (now fighters) into his kingdom and they were given land.

They didn't conquer Epe but they were accepted warmly by the Ijebus. You can only claim a place as yours if you conquer it (Indegenship by conquest).
Elepe is not subject to Awujale. In absolutely no way. Just de make up history as you go. Lol. No need to argue with you. You don’t know what you are even talking about.
