chiemeriev9:Yea the error is clear. My guess would be either the module is a third party module(ie not present in the python standard library) in this case you have to install using the Python installation manager pip pip install package_name(do this on your comand line /console) Then on your editor, do Import modulename(the name of the module/file) If the module is a sub of another module, do From xyz import zyx eg from time import sleep Or from xyz import * eg from time import * *' just says give me all under the main If this fails maybe no module exist with that name The second reason might be that it is a module you created, if this is the case, ensure the name of the module does not conflict with a standard python module. State clearly the module you are trying to import and you might get a better response and be sure you are not working on a virtual environment (venv) If that is the case then you have to re install all dependencies even tho they previously exist on your PC/machine |

Danielbuyner:Or maybe you are not just passionate enough. I never read a course relating to computer Science and i doubt if i have been into programming for as long time as you claimed. One thing is certain, you may not be where you want to be and the journey can be frustrating especially without a programmer as a guide and this was exactly my case. But trust me if you trust in your abilities until you create a first project then you are in. I have turned down offers and currently handling an experienced role in a good firm ofcourse you can predict the pay. "Whatever you set thy heart to do, do it with all thy might " " If it was easy, every one would have been doing it " " you may not have been where you wanted but you are definitely not where you started" "A company /companies can't tell me if i deserve to continue or not, because the vision is bigger than working for people who were once like you " "If you still think you can't, then you are right... Life is too short to waste time on smt especially when there are options" success in the hustle, they are other ways to get there. Nigeria will be great again ....... Just passing |
Just to correct an impression. For the guy who said Python gets difficult as you progress, I think that statement is misleading. All programming language follows same principle ie Logic connected by syntax so if you get it right from the scratch, you will always find it interesting. And yes it is possible to become so good in a short time with python. And i think it necessary we point out also that programming is not limited to building web and apps... Creating prediction models and Co are also part of programming . Infact complex machine learning algorithm can be carried out with ease using python, R etc .... |

bellz000:I meant their training cost around that amount for the 3wks. But the scholarship covers that ..... I was just stating reasons why we might not be paid for the period of our training |
bellz000:I got same message although for a slightly different role and mine starts on Monday and the post training Assessment on 25th . Normally Outside the scholarship the initial 3weeks training cost about a 50k. And far more for the post training.. So i doubt, but still hope we are still going to be paid for the initial training. I just hope it is worth it, because my location is far. Bincom is a company with prospect, so i hope they prove that. |
Who else got this invite from Bincom professional service for the April batch starting next week. And how is their Graduate trainee program and package like. Please any with relevant info should help ![]() |
Please has any been contacted for the training?. |
Ayomi123:Please any update on this and their working condition... I trust you are there already. Pls any with reliable info can help ![]() |
Steemitlicensed:I believe someone already corrected this... That free sp on your account is not for you. It comes by default to all account. |
akatovic1:If we are talking about same company that had this same exam at different location in Nigeria then i still would love to maintain my claims sir. But since you saw the invite, and seeing is believing, then you must have known the coy they are recruiting for. And in that case i admit i was wrong. This moniker seems familiar from that Seplat thread btw. Hope seplat doesn't find out you took both their exams and that of a similar coy same day... Lolz. Ps: I couldn't take the test for the Exploration Company because i had other Engagement same day at work. but a colleagues who did said it was a repetition of what we did at Frislandcaprina the week to the exam....... As for my source, i may be wrong Success to all on the AC |

assurancefemi:Assessment center is a stage in the recruitment process usually employed by the host firm(At this stage you should know the firm you are applying to, because it usually test how your behaviour aligns with their core values), to check ones behavioural competence as it aligns to their core values. It is usually followed by a final interview with top managers of the firm. And until you get a regret mail from dragnet never loose hope. Congrat in advance to all Engrs who will finally make it to the coy. |
akatovic1:Maybe either of our sources are wrong for i am also 100% sure of my source...... ![]() |
DopeMonies:From previous thread just PC only.... You might want to go through the thread for last year. You will find tons of valuable info there. |
cheehummer:Why spend that much to get a steemit account when some "Trusted" persons here offered to sell for less. Or be patient enough to wait for the free steemit account approval. Investing that amount on Sp after getting a Free account(even if it takes longer ) would have yielded far more. Except you are extremely patient( which is questionable because you would have waited for a your account to be approved), a celebrity, extremely wealthy to Invest or lucky, you may find this journey really challenging or even tempted to sell that account. One rule to excel on steemit is expect less and do more. Don't be moved by the figures the top earners make, they also had their tough beginning. But trust me it is not a get RICH quick scheme. Just an opinion and i trust you have all this planned out. |
Darmmiiee:With KPMG nothing is certain and you will always be called provided you have not been sent a regret mail, and also note their recruitment is perennial. If your complaint was not getting a mail a week after the test then i would have advice you call/mail the HR. So i will advice you stay cool and follow up the KPMG thread. The few of us who made it far in my set months back got kicked out while expecting medicals. It is a gradual process that trains you to be patient. Anyway what do i even know ...... See as i don join derail this fine thread. |
MirthOsas:Sorry for the delayed response, I have been a little busy of late and the post was basically because of that exam. I will drop other tips as soon as it's possible. Meanwhile credits for the previous tip goes to the NLder i mentioned on that post. |
evsonlive:I think this info is false if it is for this opening, because if it is the case dragnet would have sent regret mails to the unsuccessful candidates. It interval hardly exceeds 3days. I may be wrong tho and a counter proof will help settle things. |
For the who took the frieslandcampina test last week i guess the stress was less because it was a repetition. Success to all. #signingout |
kolinton007:If it is Hashem Academy Iwaya road, yaba. Take a Bus from Abule egba to Oshodi( #100-250 depending on the time you are leaving) . From Oshodi The take a Bus going to Mushin(#50) the last bustop. At muchin ask of keke going to Iwaya (just at the front where the Bus stops), it will stop you at the Oando filling station just close to the glass house. Alternatively take yaba from Oshodi, and Iwaya from yaba(Though more expensive and far) Guess the exam should be for this https://www.nairaland.com/4364555/dragnet-aptitude-test-invite-exploration I was there last week for friesland but got a better offer and don't know if i will still be attending tomorrow. A more reason i opened that thread without seeing this. |
One beautiful tip from Imag 5 a nairalander that has always been of help.. To build your speed, especially on the verbal reasoning(though for SHL but also applicable to dragnet.) I maybe sharing tips /trick on numerical aspect. have written SHL test four times and I passed three times. The one I actually think I failed was the first one (which I didn't just see the result) To get their Verbal reasoning (also Dragnet's), train yourself on how to extract information from a very short passage without necessarily having to read through the passage. The way I do it is simple: (1) I read the question first. (2) Pick the key word in the question. (3) Quickly search for the keyword in the passage. (4) Read the sentence that contains the key word. Try to understand the sentence at one reading. Look, after writing the tests, I could not narrate any story in any of the passages. That proved to me that I wasn't really reading the passages. On the numerical, (1) Quickly study the Chart(s). Identifying the Title, x-axis and y-axis (this is very important). If you do not do this, you will always be confused on which chart to use, or the information the chart is giving. Trust me this will waste a lot of your time. The moment you are familiar with the charts, no question related to the chart will take you up to 15 seconds to tackle. (2) Read the question and identify which chart to use. If the chart is already specified for you, go to the next step. (3) Note (in your mind) what is required. Mind you, hardly will you see a staight-forward question. You will need to know how to use your percentage very well and very fast, utilising all short cuts available to you. For example, if an item is reduced by 5% and you are asked to get the current value, you don't have to be doing all the plus and minus there. Just multiply original value by 95%; if it was increased by 5%, multiply original by 105%. - Know multiples of 2, 5 and 10 very well, such that you can handle them without calculator. - If you are asked to bring calculator, used a good scientific calculator. - If they provide ordinary (simple) calculator for you (not scientific) minimise rate of using it because it waste so much time. Your head works faster than simple calculator, believe me. - If it is online and you are asked to use calculator inside the PC; you have got a leverage. This is the best calculator I have ever used, especially if the OS is windows 7. Just Open the calculator and convert it to sciencific, and check 'History' (Click on 'View menu'>'Scientific', Click on 'Edit menu'>'History'). Do not close the calculator until you finish the entire test. This will help you to go back to previous calculations and still use them or view their answers. (4) Answer the less verbose questions first. It takes time to even read the questions; therefore, avoid read and jump. Any question that is more than three lines shoud be jump and be tackled later. (5) Learn how to combine two information coming from two different charts. Most of the questions are designed in that form. |
Please those invited for this test come in and share tips as the exam comes up tomorrow 24th of feb. Just for record purposes. Alot of people are already getting tired of taking The dragnet test in general. But i guess this is a purely Engineering opening and deserves a best shot. Btw who knows the firm dragnet is recruiting for. ![]() |
fixitibrotorch:Seems like he used it as a noun, so he may be wrong. Anyway what do i know . I may be wrong too. |
Jesusgirl92:It is an act of intelligence to accept it when things don't work out. The blame game itself is an act of failure... and you were wrong... it has nothing to do with it. |
deelizabeth93:I never knew it was this close from Muchin..Thinking of going back to return later ![]() |
warriboy21:No p Bro.... Though nothing much because from time, I will share every thing i know here since i have also learnt from this room. Steemit will teach you how to be patient...... That is why i love it. More wins to us all. |
deelizabeth93:Thanks for this.... So which is closer, Oshodi to Yaba or Oshodi to muchin. Or are they in same area ![]() |
warriboy21:Haha.... This one crack me i swear. Bros your own dey learn. I had similar experience as a newbie . The author made a post and like i was monitoring him, immediately the post dropped i typed nice post. And saw '2votes' i checked the sign and saw (-) instead of (+). The effect was so bad that i almost gave up the account. Since i no longer have anything to loose, I turned the hustle in a coded G. Got a powerful language translator coupled with my small ability to understand a few languages(as a wafboy). As awkward as it may sound i started using foreign Tags(dem Japanese dem and my translator doing the magic) .I Sincerely told them i am not from there but so much love them and their language(with their language) Rule 1: If you Sincerely declare interest in humans and what they do, they may always want to reciprocate. It still works that way in the Outside world. Those men no stingy na, dem just dey bless me. I got flagged severally for this, but my rep was already beautiful. Note This is the surest way to get your account murdered especially if you are new, too many bot and that tatics don cast . Just study the system, you may get something legal that works for you and have the mindset of working smart, hope in God too. My NL account is not connected to my Pm for those that sent pm. Am learning just like everyone else here and i enjoy remaining Unknown on steemit (for coded reasons) Make i go prepare for my Aptitude test abeg *leaves thread * |
doyinisaac:True....... Alot of Factors decides. I made a post on this that transformed my Steemit story..... We all must get there. |
