maybe ladies prefer grammarians, abi? It seems he doesnt want to hibernate again, hence the grammar. lol |
*faints* water please!ha haaa why faint. Couldnt stand the list, huh? lol |
sure we do. |
ha ha! I dont think hibernation will help. |
Most of the security agencies dont regard the police orders cos of thier bad repute which might have resulted in killing the SSS guy. I guess. But then it is not justifiable for them to kill him. |
You are married then (and come to think that I was about asking you to marry me . . . lol).uh uh!, so the search continues. lol |
single n cautious |
I wonder why police were so afraid of just one person in thier midst. Aint they suppose to consider what they do with thier guns everytime they draw it out; either if u're killing or saving a life with it. U cant just be killing everytime. abaah! |
In some cases, the actual movies do not depict the title. Funny! |
Hmmm |
This is terrible! I mean he was killed for just provoking? Its too bad what police are becoming with guns in thier hands. |
Honestly,I think the concept of EFCC is very niceFine! Atleast they have made some striking revolution about corruption by officials. If it wasnt for their bravery we wouldnt know some of this things. seriously! |
So do we then discard the progress he's (Ribadu) made so far? ![]() |
This fight against corruption would be complete when punishment is metted out against those governors. Looking forward to that period. EFCC is doing a good job; Ribadu represent a new breed Nigerian. Kudos |
I don't really blame those opposing the ban,the problem is that people do not trust the government anymore, bingo! Even if it is a laudable policy people would always critisie simply because they want to talk, due to our believes that every govt. is a failed-government without taking a second thought about it. Government took into consideration the aftermath effect of the banning on the riders hence it restricted them to some locations where they (okadas) could still carve a niche for themselves. Thaaaat is something to ponder upon. |
Its extremely dangerous plying the road with okadas; saying from xperience Thier service is better-off in the areas designated for them. |
@ justkunmi You could search up about successful people's antecedents, creativity, biography and all. Visit fun sites |
yeah! |
They are banning motorcycles to guarantee profits for the new government-sanctioned bus operators. When govt introduced the abuja green cab, other commercial vehicles were still operating. Right now there are green taxis n buses operating with the govts' green cab simultaneously. Likewise okadas n tricycle (keke napep) which have been operating before now. Introduction of the govt's commercial vehicles will only creat an environment for healthy competition on fares. this will witness a drop in the charges from both sides thereby giving the commuters the power to choose. So its not a one-sided affair. |
U can easily trek from your neighbourhood to the main road and board a vehicle; atleast its part of exercise. Of course we all know the importance of services okadas rendered but then their excesses has to be curtail from strategic areas to avoid them being over-run by vehicle. just some couple of weeks back one ignore the trafic light almost getting into my lane; u know. that was risky! |
I think its a right step in the right direction. Their activities is only banned from the city center not an outright banned from their operations. However they can still operate in the satellite towns and so on. This news has been making rounds amongst them (okada riders) sometime last week which resulted in fracas between them and policemen somewhere in Area 1 with tearsgas everywhere. The buses are cool; only that people are sceptical about their fares for now. The tends to be large influx of people using the buses in the night. I wonder about the fate of those govt. workers that have been distributed motorbikes by thier respective agencies. |
of course! But the message is well understood. |
I like it that no corrupt official will rule nigeria again, but the question is if only it will work. I just heard this on the bbc: Nigerian police have detained the high-profile spokesman of Vice-President Atiku Abubakar. He is being questioned over "activities of security interests" Its pretty obvious that Atiku has to go. |
-Who are the moderate muslims? those who 'justify' the violence and actions of the 7/7 and 9/11 bombers but however will not strap bombs on themselves. So how are 'moderates' different from the extremist?,I wonda oooo! The point is the Pope has voiced out his opinion and everyone understands it even though he's been made to rescind on his statement. But the meaning has been read. |
ATIKU will be out in less than 2 months.hmmm, that depends on the NA verdict. |
I really wonda if its possible (impeaching both men) considering the plight of the nation at this time. Army could cease the opportunity. i dont pray for such. but dont forget they are watching with keen interest. its dangerous. |
LMAO ![]() |
If bad deeds were to be punish like this in nigeria. Nigeria would've been law abiding nation. lol ![]() |
@ Topic Notwithstanding this, travelling by plane is still the safest form of transportation. Road transport is the worst: accidents happens virtually everyday on the roads unheard unlike plane where any slightest glitch receives widest circulation on the media. Anywayz, may thier souls rest in perfect peace. |
* check my box * Read news (odili.net, bbc.co.uk, etc) * search up for things of interest (research) * nairaland Note: Download cool musics n videos in-between. ![]() |
@ odeku u re right he (Atiku) was exposed of illegal dealings with US congressman in a country that doesnt clothed corruption like we do. Yet Obj hasnt been level with any corruption allegations except by Atiku who knows he's guilty; and in order not to go down alone, wants to drag Obj with him. |
i like the way Atiku/Obj saga is unfolding. Who knows perhaps there is still a lot of documents to released. Atleast we now know what they have been doing behind close doors. ![]() |
