@ty4real
Lol. I go deliver your message. Lol

That small thing wey i do? Haba grin. You're welcome.

Working Holiday Visa no 'sweet' as before. With the recent changes in the law, anyone with it cannot change status while in the UK. The person must go back to his home country. Not forgetting the - 'you can only work maximum one year' - restriction attached to the visa.

Congratulations once again.

@akolawole
Lol. I don hear. But that phone/text part go hard small oh. grin grin

@pataki
Please check your 'new' mail.

@Akolawole,

Having the original certificate shouldn't take too long. Once you have successfully finished your course, you should be able to get the certificate either at graduation or sometime later. I guess a lot of people have abused the priviledge of just using provisional results.
Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by Akolawole(m): 10:32am On May 05, 2008
@Imani

Not all University are as effective as University of Bath tongue

I knew one that you hand-in your desertation in October and get certificate July. Please do the maths. thats too long

How's todays holiday?
Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by Imani(f): 10:37am On May 05, 2008
@ Akolawole,

Bank holiday is fine, thank you. Time to rest my tired body and mind grin

Regarding certificates, Most schools will produce them within an allocated time. Most Unis have two graduation ceremonies . . .summer or winter.

July graduation for an October dissertation is fishy except if the Uni is affiliated to a bigger University. What is the name of the Uni in question? I doubt it is in the top 50.
Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by Akolawole(m): 10:42am On May 05, 2008
Is Bath in top 50?

Just asking.

The other code has to be the second bank holiday.

Yes, It is in the top 10, not that i believe all those rankings. As long as i get what i paid for, i am fine. I am no longer a student anyway, so no more affiliations to any universities. tongue

I don't understand what other code
Re: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by Akolawole(m): 10:51am On May 05, 2008
@Imani

Top 10! Thats good, No wonder she studied there tongue

Vic, its good. I dont dig correspondence outside nairaland any longer. I'm happy with the select few i deal with and i dont wish to expand that circle.
I dont know what you do and frankly its none of my business neither shld it be the business of many here who have made vic-bashing a sport.
Its an anonymous forum, we meet here to have fun . . . once we log out we forget everything and move on with our REAL lives. Apparently some have no lives and would not mind bursting their veins for some they've never met.

hi good people.
was confused for a bit when i couldnt post a thing, anyway, im in london now, it was smooth sailing, few questions e.g what course are u going to study, whrere are you going to be staying, when last where you in the uk, any kids, any medical exams, name of school, acceptance letter and irrelevant gist to checck your confidence i guess,
last point was to submit a card for medicals which they will send to your address(UK) for check up since one will be in thier country for more than 6 months.

Brownbaby, any news yet? Got to school yesterday and was told things are going to get tougher(STUDENT VISA REQUIREMENTS)

   Welcome to the UK.
   Now that your desires have been met, my advice is that you prepare yourself and your mind for some challenges especially as a new student. Remember, there are many people who achieved their aims as they got into schools abroad, but yet, they never achieved the objective of finishing their studies or obtaining their degrees. Sometimes, it's not their faults as they couldn't make ends meet, but most often, some people make the mistake of being carried away by the system as they prefere instant enjoyments at the risks of their future careers.
   It's expected that you'd get into many challenging and demanding situations, yet, in all these, aim at your objective with this motto written in your heart: "WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GETS GOING". If you observed and apply all these combined with your instinctive wisdom, trust me, you'll triumph proudly at last.
    @Siena, thank you for realising the thread, couldn't wait to see it back. Appreciated. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

First off, what nationality is your boyfriend?And to what end do you wish to bring him to the UK?
A holiday, work or just to live? Your request for assistance is too nebulous.
