Yea, because I remember I read that somewhere. Just confirming. No wonder the Ghanaians could exploit his position.
TheSuperNerd:
Nope. Naturally a left footed attacking midfielder converted into a LB in the Naija U17 camp.

Pre tournament reports did also say that he has a knack for hitting Freekicks so that makes him some sort of FK specialist.

Naija Talents Watch: Ebube Okere, 15-16yrs, Nigeria U17

Ebube Okere, #17, was another lad beautiful to behold yesterday in the middle of the park. A true midfield gem. Good offensively and defensively. A machine.

He tackled, he intercepted, tracked runs, won duels and drove forward when needed. He also showed some ball distribution qualities.
Ozor Okeke may have been the Chief distributor and orchestrator via sweet vertical and diagonal long balls and passes but Ebube Okere was the Enforcer in and through the middle. Really good and strong on the ball. Akin to a ball-playing and workaholic box to box midfielder but is primarily the CDM of the side.

His close control and drive won us the freekick from which Emmanuel Michael hit that worldie.
He also put his body on the line in the second half to clear away a goal bound effort from a Ghana Cornerkick with an intelligent defensive header.
An outstanding performance and I expect more from this lad at this Qualifying tournament.

Ebube Okere is truly the Ying to Ozor Okeke's Yang. They work so well together in the middle game, complementing each other's qualities.

Their other MF partner, Raphael Oyebanjo (#12) acts like the unseen glue that binds it all together. The Silent hardworker working behind the scenes. I hope their triple threat sync carries on beautifully.

Ebube Okere.... another Midfield Pearl to watch. Mark his name.

Pics key:

1. Ebube Okere battling with the Ghanaian Captain, Collins Agyemang.

2. Ebube Okere (#17), second from Left of the pic celebrating with Ozor (#10), and Michael (#3) after that World Class FK strike. Miracle Ogwor is the lad in #15. A CB.

3. Ebube Okere receiving his MVP prize at the 2021 Alimosho Football Coaches Council League (AFCCL) that featured various Youth Academies.

Sadiq will play in La Liga, the best league in the world, next season. We will evaluate him then.

Actually the EPL is the most competitive and best league in the world .

Because you are in the best league in the world doesn't automatically make you the best player in the world.

He may find himself back to the Segunda next season without making any impact, thats a possibility .

There's a reason why when any transfer window comes, believing the italian sports media is OYO. They are down the ladder of tabloids, etc to believe. Fact. You'll even get true info of a player linked to the serie A from any league in the world from English Media. Dey too dey cook zobo.

Italians are not known for integrity, honour and truthfulness truth must be told they are quite crooked.

I should know I am in Italy currently.

We need to clean up that squad if we have ambitions.

Musa, Shehu, Omeruo need to go. Moffi should not be getting invites over Awoniyi, that was a mistake.

Bonke and Etebo are farmers. We need top class midfielders like Alhassan and Onyedika. I will even take Tijani over those guys.

Ekong and Balogun shouldn't be starting games at this level again. I would go with Zaidu, Bassey, Ajayi, Aina back 4 with Awaziem and Balogun as back up CB. Ekong should just be doing hypeman on the bench, he is too poor a CB. Poor man's Maguire.

With the number of strikers equal to the number of wingers, I think Peseiro is set on this 4-4-2 thing. My question though is, why was Nacho not invited then? We all know what Nacho offers, even as his work rate is poor. No one on our team is more technical, maybe Iwobi and sometimes Aribo and Sadiq comes close but that's it.

Etebo is not a farmer he has been one of our best midfielders in times past, although he doesn't justify a call up in the here and now.

Awaziem, Omeruo are not better than Ekong and or Balogun. Age should not be a factor in the Nigerian context.

Nacho has a good left foot but exceptional technical ability a big No. He doesn't deserve a call up.

Football analysts and experts says otherwise.
So being the third best dribbler in the world is all you know about Ejuke.

You have not noticed his goals and assists, only one player at CSKA Moscow has more goals than him, and only one player made more assists than him. This is because he played most games in the second half of the season as a sub, at a time he was leading in goals and assists.

Only one player passes the ball better than Ejuke at CSKA Moscow, and that player is a midfielder.

I can tell you for free that Ejuke is more intelligent than all SE wingers.
No Super Eagles player commands more technique than Ejuke.

He is not better than Ademola.

A people inherent culture that can only be experienced first hand tells you about the character of the people.

I got a taxi from the airport to my residence from the airport about 38km he charged me €165 it should not have been more than a €100.

This kept happening and I decided to rent a car , even going to pick up the rental car the taxi driver took a long route and added a 5 km to the trip.

It was after I started driving and using Google maps discovered the taxi drivers were going the long way round.

But that not all just lots of sharp practices and outright cheating. I guess this is the land of the cosa nostra so I should not be surprised.

There is a reason Kevwe starts. He was involved in some of our fine attacking moves today and had a big hand in the second goal.
True, he looked kinda heavy/slow a few times but we need his physicality.
Ugbade really drilled this team so he knows why Eke impacted the game better off the bench.

Remember Sani Emmanuel of 2009? So trust the coach. If Nduka tweaks the lineup to include Eke then so be it.

Ok. All in all....the team was good yesterday

Samuel eto rejected Joel matip request to return to the national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup

Eto said this is a national team and we don’t tolerate people who think they are the special ones

Nice one from Samuel eto ,I love this

Ghana should also be smart

If it’s the Nigerian team I am sure they would welcome matip with their full hands ,saying he plays for a big club like Liverpool and he is better than our current defenders grin

Meanwhile, that name "Odo" is pronounced "Oh d' oh", not "Oh d' Or". It is the name of a powerful deity in the Nsukka axis of Enugu State.

Another doomsday prophecy..
I'd screenshot it for further reference, but what's the point?

Meanwhile, Zaidu is being strongly linked to Fulham.. It's a good money move.. imagine if it happens and Zaidu walks into that Fulham team! cheesy .. Better call your pals at Fulham to call it off,or else, na premium dragging for you here

MOTM, Emmanuel Michael is from the Simoiben Futball Club, Kaduna.

That's a Simon Moses-owned football academy.

It seems yesterday ugbade tactics was long balls which not to be okay to me because that may give the opponent too many ball possession
I think the team need practice short passes more and ball retention
