kendrick93: I might just be one of the few SE fans that is not really keen about these foreign borns. For goodness sake let them be! We have our own proven way of getting getting quality players thru the production line and that is the youth team. All the world class players we've ever produced have been thru the youth teams. Ikpeba, kanu, Taribo, Okocha, Babayaro, Mikel and now Osimhen have come thru the youth ranks. The only exception is of course Victor Moses. There was a time the foreign borns were not even eligible to play for us and we did just fine. Now, we lazily look up to them to fix every hole, real or imagined , in the NT. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Even after his club released him early before Christmas, Osimhen was still the last player to arrive camp. Arriving after players who had club duties as late as 2nd of January. Even Boniface and Omeruo whom he was seen partying together hit the camp early. 4 Likes |

If Osimhen, a home grown star can not show commitment, what do we expect foreign players to do? Osimhen is currently a role model to his mates, is this the way he should lead? 2 Likes |

Ahmed Musa, who was comparing commitment of home grown stars should know that his argument is flawed as you obviously can't compare iwobi's commitment to Osimhen recently 1 Like |

As Super Eagle is the most valuable team in Africa going into this tournament, I expect nothing less than semis. Anything short of this, is a failure. 1 Like |

It was somehow but no way does it signify lack of commitment. The way you are going on about this thing, one would be mistaken to think this has been his behavior for a while. 2 Likes 1 Share |

2innocent: This has nothing to do with commitment but systems that has groomed them. The Nigerian system is one of anyhow and carefree. While in the UK their lifestyle is mostly timed, you get to the train at a particular time, bus never waits when u are not on time. In Nigeria we don't have such problems. If you miss the bus at the park, move forward a little bit you will find "sole" (cheap quick price) that's the habit of a Nigerian. The idea that we will always find a way to navigate or deal with what we should be time conscious of is not a burden for us. 4 Likes |

2innocent:Who wants to play for a coach who is tactically and technically inept?. Osimhen has always given his all while dorning the green white green. Osimhen ain't happy with Jpes,it was clear against the friendly game against Saudi Arabia. If na me, I will feign injury self We are going into Afcon with a weak defense, thin and shaky midfield and a loose goalkeeping department. Many of the players are not happy with Jpes style of play and his stubbornness to keep playing Uzoho. I was opportuned to talk to a player in the team,he raised the aforementioned points. He even said Jpes is the worst national team coach he has ever worked with. 1 Like 1 Share |

I don't hype my G I only give unbiased fact based analysis Jokes apart Benjamin from what I saw in the U20s is a very promising player. Reports say he has been doing well with the Brentford B Team which is commendable considering this is his first time in Europe. Hope he lives up to his potential. MetalJigsaw: |

Since i began reading Complete Sports when it was 20Naira, till now that I'm getting old, I have never seen a Nigerian Ref make it to international repute. That's a span of more than 2decades. Are these guys cursed or unambitious? 5 women refs at Afcon and Nigeria can't even boast of at least one rep. One rep is enough. See as Southern Africa dey carry the thing for head like say na FIFA trophy Something needs to be done. And please, don't bring some news about "they are trying" Don't bring 4th official gist too. 😤😤😤 1 Like |

Daninya33:Based on Afcon standard, I don't think we have a weak defense. The problem is that the coach looks dumb. I hear he plans pairing Omeruo with Bassey, I think Omeruo should be coming in towards the end of matches to secure wins. Awaziem is the best pair for Bassey honestly 1 Like |
