To get a coach for SE don take 3 months. Ordinary check person records. Check his philosophy, ask am questions about his formation. Ask am to know how much he knows about Ng SE players strengths and weaknesses. 3 months don pass. Too much interest don enter d selection process. Press & bloggers & some govt money bags dey support Paul. NFf officials dey support Apollos. Sports ministry dey support Onesimus.

They gotta strike their own deal which is not going to be easy now. That actually takes more time than other things.

From the criteria you listed, Amunike is the man, he has a better understanding of the culture that formed most of our players, and even had stints coaching some of these players at the grassroot level.

My brother it is beyond that. Can he command respect if the players? Can he effectively manage egos in the team? That’s my fear.

Shows how unintelligent the selection team is at processing data with respect to the team personnel currently on ground. Sentiments ti take over. They don't even regard the detrimental of time wasted wrt to the WC that's the ultimate goal. I doubt they're ready to do what it takes. One big bottleneck i know that will hamper their quality decision making will be the salaries. Smh

The fourth best team in the epl table couldn't beat a bunch of 11 drunk men from Germany in the London stadium. These are men who have been clubbing/partying and have barely trained in the last 3days, yet West Ham a top four team in England could not do jack against them. grin grin

Almost all the English clubs got a dose of rude awakening in both the Champs and Europa league competitions.. shows the EPL is a massive fraud with good PR machine.

The yeye mentality.

If dem serious they will identify a coach and go for him. All this noise very unnecessary.

if we can't attribute the 2022 wcq failure to him since he was assistant to eguavon, then garba's u17 too shouldn't be counted. All in all, meliforme's point that amunike is conversant with many players in the squad isn't true.
